microblading
I need advice on whether eyebrow microblading is safe if taking 10 mg Rivaroxiban daily. Therapist won’t do it if you are on blood thinners unless deemed safe by a doctor. Does anyone know?

Eliquis and surgery
I will have to go off my Eliquis for several days prior to having surgery on one of my eyes. I am terrified that I may go into AF while off it. Has anyone had to go off their anticoagulant for surgery and had AF without it causing a stroke?

blood tests
hi lovely people, I was wondering if you could give me any advice. I’m relatively new to all of this and I’ve had a very bad experience at my last hospital. I was misdiagnosed most of last year with Complex Regional Pain disease. My rheumatologist wouldn’t even consider an autoimmune disease. Anyway

Hernia operation with permanent AF and apixaban as blood thinner. How can I minimise the dangers?
Has anybody else with permanent AF and who is on apixaban or similar faced treatment for an inguinal hernia as I have a number of serious concerns? I had a right sided hernia over a decade over when I was just taking aspirin and had mild paroxysmal AF, so I stopped the aspirin for the op which was of

Supplements
Wondering what supplements and brands of supplements everyone is on? I am 46 & live in the U.K. and have paroxysmal AF. I had an ablation 4 months ago. Not on blood thinners anymore. Taking verapamil but Dr advised to come off it soon. I really want to take the supplements that can help me but I know

Aspirin vs apixaban and other blood thinners
Has anyone here with atrial fibrillation been prescribed aspirin rather than other blood thinners like apixaban? I would rather take aspirin but my cardiologist prefers apixaban. It seems like there is research that goes both ways. My GP rolls his eyes and says opinion changes from year to year. I

Switching blood thinners
Help. I don't know what to do. Have the opportunity to switch from Edoxaban 60mg. To Apixaban 5mg twice. Day. What worries me is the 12 hour gap between taking the tablets. What if you forget or go over the 12 hours. Has anyone done that? Also which one is safest.

Migraine and trimethoprim
I recently suffered a urinary infection and GP prescribed trimethoprim. Three days into course I developed severe migraine with aura, feeling generally very unwell and increasing neck pain and stiffness. I persevered with tablets but migraine aura recurred every few hours and the pain was unbearable

Flecainide without Beta-Blocker
Hello everyone. I am worried about my Husband and the choices being offered to him for the treatment of his AF and I would welcome members thoughts and opinions on the matter. My husband is 75. His heart history as follows. 1. Palpitations, attributed to short salvoes of supraventricular tachycardia

Restless Legs and blood thinners?
Can restless legs and very low feritin be caused by taking blood-thinning medication and having taken it for a long time? It may be necessary to avoid blood clots in the brain due to atrial fibrillation and flutter. And what do you do if this is the case?I live in Denmark and neither general practitioners

Thank you for your reassurance.
Thank you so much for your confirmation that I am right about the difference between blood thinners and
anticoagulants
. Being a wordy type, I do like to use the right words for things, and I knew we were talking about an anticoagulant here. This is such a wonderful group.

Heart Attack at 38
Hi, I first posted on the thyroid board but was sent here to check with the knowledgeable people here. At the end of January I had a heart attack. The doctors said it was due to taking T3 for my thyroid but I’ve read a lot of conflicting information as to whether T3 would cause this or not and the
