Tachycardia?
As a follow-up to my last post about seasonal allergies and medication, my doctor gave me an injection of Decadron and Depo-Medrol (cortisone) for allergies. A couple days later while doing outdoor chores, I had a tachycardia event, rested, and had three more events in succession, the last lasting 15

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with CLL in August 2018 and so far have remained on watch and wait. In September 2019, I had successful surgery for colon cancer, had a stoma for 6 months and then a reversal and have been "all clear" since then. Also, as a bonus, the chemo I had for the colon cancer

Safe med for mold allergy?
Any suggestions for a safe and effective medication for a pretty severe mold allergy? I'm going to see an allergist, but I need some PD-safe relief ASAP.

I have ragweed allergy since a child. Food sensitivity to wheat.
Stage 0 CLL, trisomy 12, diagnosed 2018. I always got post nasal drip with my ragweed allergy as a teen till 1999. Did bee pollen cure for awhile. I think allergy slowly came back... And set off the cytokines which increased into a reoccuring seasonal (about 2 seasons a year) sinus infection, high

Asthma attack or panic attacks.
Hello everyone, yesterday I had quite a bad asthma attack due to a chest infection, it was the first really bad one I've ever had so I'm petrified. I'm terrified of having another one and this is setting off panic attacks. I'm struggling to tell the difference between the two because I'm wheezing

Asthma and EGPA
I was diagnosed with eosiniphilic asthma five years ago. Prior to this I had struggled for two years - GP's opinions ranged from COPD to heart failure. I had been suffering from sinus problems as well as breathing issues - in fact I had nasal polyps removed. Fast forward to 2022. I am on my third

Ostomy Bag Gone Amuck
My Hollister ostomy bag pancakes on stoma and prevents bag from operating properly. Hence it blows up and comes apart in the most inopportune times. My hernia prevents me from putting the bag on properly. I need help from someone else. Does anyone have these problems?

Stopping Montelukast
In June 2020 i was given a diagnosis of Severe/ Brittle Asthma and was put on Montelukast, Carbocisteine and Spiriva and was told to buy a home nebuliser. Now my Dr has recently advised me to stop taking Montelukast but hasn't given a reason even though he knows that this was what brought my asthma under

COPD or Asthma?
I know this question has been covered with respect to individual cases, however, I would like to know, in more general terms, how COPD is distinguished from asthma through symptoms alone. I am still waiting for tests that may lead to a formal diagnosis, and I have been experiencing an increase in breathlessness
