A cold that does not want to go away
Friends, I have had a cold for three weeks now. Not COVID, I got tested several times. This cold gives me congestion, cough, body aches and on top of all that I lost my sense of smell and taste. Does any of you experience a similar situation? If you do, could you please share it? Thank you

Hi all, due to get mine this afternoon but am in two minds about it. Currently 19 weeks and never had the flu in my life but want to get the jab to reduce chances of getting the flu to keep baby safe from possibly getting a high temp if I did contract the flu. Starting Treatment for CLL and SLL
I was diagnosed 6 years ago. After my annual physical my physician sent me to a hematologist because my WBC was staying a bit above normal. I get bronchitis and pneumonia frequently. My lymphnodes have begun to be slightly enlarged. I'm exhausted and have given up things I love. My WBC IS 33.8 Lymph

Well, that’s no fun
Having suspected I was having a flare, as I had generally totally overdone everything, I increased my dose (as advised on here) of Prednisolone from 7mgs to 12 mgs fully intending that I would reduce down again to the 7mgs over a few weeks by reducing at a rate of 1mg a week. We went on a lovely weeks

Safe recovery after flu
Hello, for the past week I have been suffering from flu, and haven't been able to do any running. I usually run Parkrun and two more runs during a week, so should I return to C2 5k say at week 7 or just try a slow 20 minute run and see how it goes? TIA.

Flu jab
morning. I am on Rituximab. I took a blood test to test if the Covid injections worked for me and it showed a negligible immunity. I just wondered if anyone on Ritux had tested whether the flu jab had given any immunity. I am thinking not. I do have all these vaccines anyway.

Trying to understand tests
I just had a positive antibody test for hep C. However, the PCR did not detect antibodies. I think this means I had hep C in the past (though I didn't know it), but don't have now. Do I still need treatment?

Lots of flu going around!
My neighbor who is a nurse practitioner told me she has never seen so many flu cases this early in the season. She saw 21 patients on Wednesday and 11 tested positive for the flu. I had putting off the flu shot, wanted to do Covid booster first but she urged me to get my flu shot sooner rather than

Big, big trouble Houston
I’m 60 now but a guy so I’m still prone to daft things like buying Microsoft Flight Simulator. I flew a 747 the other day and blimey did it let me know when I tried a questionable manoeuvre. Red lights, Commercial Airliner Crash Warning sirens etc. Well it’s sort of a metaphor for me currently. Some

Monocytosis?
Hey folks, I searched but saw no other posts on this. Yesterday had my 6 month check up, new doc, didn't review tests with me but summarized. This morning I saw online that my monocytes have gone sky high (2.0 versus .4 etc.) registering as high on the test as well (in fact, they spike to the same

Travel with Forteo
I'm going to italy for 5 months. From here to my destination will be about 24 hours. I have 5 vials of Forteo. How do I keep it cool enough. Is it a hassle getting it in the plane. Do I need anything to travel with it. The needles will be in suitcase. Thank you
