Very sore breasts!
I’ve been getting
acupuncture
every 1-2 weeks for 9 weeks now and she suspects I have low progesterone (she called it estrogen dominance) so I think she’s doing things to try to increase progesterone and I’ve been doing seed rotation to help too. Could it just be increase in progesterone?

Question for nerds
I recently read an article in the NY Times about the science of placebo. (No, this is not an attempt to treat RLS with a placebo.) There is some very interesting research being done these days but my interest is not in the placebo effect, it is in an enzyme called COMT that has a role to play in the

I tried physio, chiropractic,
acupuncture
with no success. In fact it was the acupuncturist that suggested I have my thyroid tested.

Just When I Was Making Progress...
I had
acupuncture
today and I was just explaining how well I’ve been doing. Spoke too soon. I’m over this!

as in total I’ve had 4 over the last 2weeks.

All this effort does pay off - my story - hope it helps !
I am looking into
acupuncture
as I still get stomach cramps which need over the counter painkillers - I'd like to stop those. Oh and sex is back to normal! I now feel more confident and in control of my endo, I can live with it not suffer from it xx Updated 2 and a bit years post lap - almost 3.

Acupuncture for MS
I have never tried
acupuncture
on the back, but I have heard it helps with back pain. Of course, if lesions are on the spine, I don't know how safe it is. I read on the Internet (obviously I am not an acupuncturist) that MS patients should not have
acupuncture
in head zones.

Noooooo.....
Physio was excellent-
acupuncture
and gentle exercise regime. GP and physio have reassured me that I will run again, it’ll just take time but gutted.

Pain, spine, nervous system
So I've had a lot of private 'alternative' therapy (good physio, osteo, medicinal massage, and
acupuncture
and mindfulness works for me for my nervous system and emotions). I've tried lots of different things.

I’m back! 2nd cycle Coming up, need your feedback on acupuncture? Xx 😘
I had
acupuncture
today as was recommended to do it by a Friend. It felt weird and not meant to have a few more before I go in, just wanted to ask your opinions on it? Am I wasting my money or is it actually good for you?

She also said that we need to stop trying for three months while I have
acupuncture
to make my body healthy enough. I’m not sure what to make of it.

Despite having a top grade embryo, perfect lining and everything looking textbook (and spending hours on
acupuncture
/ meditation, as well as no booze, healthy eating etc), it hasn’t worked - I wish I knew why.

Working with a functional medicine doctor
Greetings fellow PRM-GCA folks! I'm wondering if anyone on this site is currently working with a "functional medicine" or "integrative medicine" doctor to treat the condition. My rheumatologist is a highly qualified, and good, conventional doctor, but she doesn't explore underlying conditions or causes

Has anyone tried
Acupuncture
? If so how successful was it? My mums
Acupuncture
lady says it’s very good for Fybromyalgia. It’s probably worth a go but it’s expensive for the six sessions that she recommends. Thanks. calihotel.
