Hello EveryoneThis is a different 'cutie pics' this week specially for my friend Kayhimm who you all know very well. She's been thru a tough procedure and coped like a trooper. i'm curious to know if the 'cute' chihuahua is anything like her little lino?.
These two were at a special event at Goodwood and don't they look 'cute' wearing the same tops. What do you think, specially those of you who have dogs?. Do you wear same outfits sometimes?.
Hope your all as well and painfree as possible, looking forward to warmer weather but not too warm!. Ha!.
Take Care

P.s. At last i have some good news regarding the biliary pain. I'm having the special liver scan MRCP on Sat Early!!. ๐คit provides an answer. Will let you know.
I also had an adrenal crisis this week and used my emergency injection for the first time very successfully. I got thru to Endo Dept and they also want me to have a special adrenal test to see how much they're working!!. Progress at last on my case. Its so hard waiting in need isnt it?. Keep pushing dept's if you are too.
Thank you all for your support, i really appreciate it so much and need it still for my foot as long wait for op. Xx

Aww love the matching outfits ๐ฅฐ thatโs super cute ! Iโm afraid I never had a matching outfit with my little doggies but they did use to wear little winter fleeces and Jak also had a calming jacket for anxiety especially when visiting the vets or if we had guests as he used to be a bit hyper!
Iโm so pleased things are moving forward for you lovely, I know youโve still got that long wait for op , if only we could get everything sorted quickly!
Hopefully your MRCP will give you some answers, youโll be relieved to get that done, itโs been a long wait for you๐ค
Sending BIG hugs ๐ค ๐ฅฐ๐ ๐ถ ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ xxx
Thank you lovely so much for your great message. Dianne. I really hope you get those pills sorted and stop your nose from running so much so you can feel a little better in your self. You've had a shocking winter and thats awful having such a long wait to go to gp!. Oh yes, i'm really hoping this test shows up the problem so i can be helped. It just delays us doesn''t it when multiple tests have to be done before any answers.
Keeping ๐คfor you lovely. Big hug. Xx๐๐ค๐๐๐บ๐ป๐ค
Hi Misty very cute photo. I am sooooo delighted that you are having your scan on Saturday. You have waited so long for progress and now it is so close. I am so sorry you had an adrenal crisis it must have been very frightening. I hope the tests can be done quickly for you. Good luck lovely. Keep us updated. Lots of love xxx
Thanx so much cecily for your lovely wishes. I really need this test to show the problem now as its been so long. I'm glad ive done my first injection and it went so well. I will update when i get news. I hope you r feeling better this week. Xx๐ค๐๐๐
I completely agree, you have suffered long enough. I am miserable this week judt severe leg pain still, not sleeping much with it and now a UTI again. Fed up really xxx
Oh no cecily, you must be. I hope you get the right antibiotics this time and or a referral to Urology as you get so many infections. TAKE CARE. Xx๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
I believe that the GP has under prescribed me so the existing infection has not ever cleared up and gets worse. I just spent ages trying to get three days supply from Boots but at the end they refused because I had had two previous courses. I have an open referral with Urology but that will take time to ring and wait for a telephone appointment and I need some relief now. I will get up at 8 am and ring then wait for a GP to call me and hope it is before 11 am when the samples go to the lab. Sorry nothing compared to you. I feel such a hypochondriac xxx
No cecily, its certainly not nothing and UTI's can deteriorate quickly and make us very poorly. Its such a terrible battle sorting these things when we are poorly but you must ring Urology as well and get an appt. Its important!.
Best of luck tomorrow, hope you get a good gp and the right antibiotics. Will keep my ๐ค, for you. Let me know. Big hug. Xx๐๐ค๐๐๐๐
Thank you so much. I am miserable today which is unlike me. The time it took me to get antibiotics last time and I felt unwell for days, shivery then hot, constantly in the loo only to have five antibiotics and she just would not listen to me that Nitrofyntoin was the only one that works for me so gave me Trimethoprim which I explained I had been on for two years solid and had not worked. I donโt want to be on antibiotics so when I ask I need them. Bless you for understanding. Your kindness is so much appreciated xxx
Cecily - never compare. You have your own struggles and have for years. Even though I had a procedure, it is over while you have a stubborn UTI. That sounds miserable. Honestly, it is one thing I have rarely had and I was fine within 24 hours. So be kind to yourself. Tea, hot pad, home movies, and dog cuddles for you.
Bless you Kay. I am feeling sorry for myself today . I look very old and weary. My legs have been like lead and so painful for months. I am struggling to walk and miss going out with the lovely Finlay who is such a beautiful, loving boy growing so fast and I am missing out. Once I get over this I will bounce back. I hate being a moaning Minnie. I was not aware you were having a proveedure Kay. I hope it all went well and that little Lino is looking after you? Xxx
I do hope cecily that you managed to speak to a nice gp and you've got the antibiotics you need. Its miserable feeling so poorly all the time and i'm sorry your missing out on Finlay walks because of your legs. You need help with that pain and maybe a referral.
Anyway, just thinking about you and hoping today wasnt a big battle. Xx๐ค๐๐ค๐ถ๐๐ค๐๐
Hi Misty, thank you again for thinking of me. Today has been ludicrous. I rang the surgery at 8 am. Told I could not have a GP appointment but an appointment with a pharmacist if I had a UTI. I then rang the pharmacy and in fairness I was seen at 10 am. Honestly the consultation was thorough. I have a raging temperating, significant amounts of blood and infection so he could not help me. I then had to queue for the receptionist who told me you will have to ring in the morning, just as I started a nosebleed ๐ซ. As I stood there having a rant trying to fumble for a tissue as blood ran down my face thank goodness the pharmacist came past and said very firmly this lady needs to be seen by a GP ASAP. Someone with such a complex history of infection should never have been delayed by referring them to my service. So I have to return at 4.45 with another specimen. The Pharmacist agrees with me that the two previous courses of 5 Trinethoprim just damped down rather than cleared the infection and now it is back with a vengeance. Hoping now that todayโs GP will actually listen to what I need. Watch this space xxx
Oh cecily, what a terrible experience for you specially as there's no way you should have been referred there. Do hope Gp tonight was better and your tucked up in bed soon. Big hug. Xx๐ถ๐๐ถ
He was abysmal. He talked over me constantly until I got really irritated with him. I could see Neil brewing for an outburst as he fired questions at me but then talked over me. He was trying to read odd letters on his computer and we were all stood up even him. The room was the size of a cupboard. No chairs except for him. He tried to prevent Neil from coming in saying there is no room in here.I said donโt worry we can stand. It was terse, uncomfortable and I felt defensive. His first question was why are you here I opened my mouth to say I saw theโฆhe said yes yes the pharmacist sent you. He then said you are under Urology arenโt you. I said well I was under them for years butโฆ so you want a referral. Umm no I was referred becauseโฆyes yes infections. Doctor I said you might find it beneficial for both of us to let me explain. He stood back and looked me up and down as if I was dirt. I was very quick with my summary two sentences. While I spoke he was desperately looking at his computer reading letters or part of them at least. He said so you have Bechets and Fibromyalgia he said ( I said nothing it just wasnโt worth it). Then he said look here you have already had two infections last month and the month before. I was bristling it felt accusatory. Of course at that moment my nose started to bleed again. I apologised and said I am sorry as I was dripping on the floor trying to find my tissues. He said you havenโt come about that too have you? I havenโt got time for that ๐. I reassured him I wanted antibiotics. He said I will give you Trimethoprim. I said thank you but I would prefer Nitrofyntoin. He said raising his voice and pointing the lab has said you are sensitive to that not Nitrofyntoin. It is not me saying that it is the lab, so you want to argue with them? Yes actually I do I said. On your head be it he said. Rude man. He gave me the prescription and said ring Urology you have a chronic condition. I said I have been underdosed twice with the wrong antibiotic. Oh so now it is our fault he said. Honest Misty I nearly said yes it is none of you listen but I said I donโt think infection is anyoneโs fault . I gave him my sample. He said you can give it to reception if you want it put in the fridge or you can just bring another sample tomorrow. I said I thought so but the Pharmacist told me to bring one..oh he said so now it is his fault. I just said thank you for your time Doctor and left. I have met some unpleasant doctors but I think this one didnโt like his job or me very much. Still I came out clutching my prescription and I have taken a double dose tonight so hopefully I will be feeling more comfortable within 24 hours. Thanks again for your support. You are so kind xxx
Oh cecily, i'm so very sorry at what you've had to go thru to get the right antibiotic!!.Its apalling. I've met doctor's like that and its a nasty experience to have to go thru. I think you handled it brilliantly and left with your dignity intact which is no mean feat. We , patients don't deserve to be spoken to like that, when we're so ill and have done nothing wrong. I do hope your starting to feel better and do ring Urology. You can't go thru this again and you must be seen by them .
Thank you Misty, honestly it was so bizarre Neil and I were giggling when we got out. The man must be so wound up. It was the smallest room I have ever been in, no more than a cupboard, dark, no room for any seats but his, which he didnโt use. It was like something out of an Ant& Dec wind up. So bad you think it cannot be happening. But, I got my antibiotics and I think already my urine is a little less pink. I will soon be better but today I just feel rough so no pottery for me sadly. I will contact Urology when I feel better as I was worried this infection would hit my kidneys. As always you are so very kind and supportive and I truly appreciate it so much. Thank you xxx
I'm so pleased you liked it kay. Thats made me ๐today. Is Lino a chihuahua like the one in the photo?.
You must be so relieved its all over now. You'd been planning for it for such a long time.
Thanx so much for all your support kay, i'm so relieved too that hopefully these 2 tests will bring some answers. Its been a tough 2 years. Xx๐๐๐ค๐บ๐
Thank you so much svfarmer for your lovely message of support and i 'm so pleased you liked the pic. I thought of you with Bea and Mira when i saw it in the paper!. Could be a fun idea to wear matching outfits, it might be a trend i'm not sure!. I do hope they're keeping you entertained and you all had a lovely Easter. Yes, it feels great to have progress at last and i just hope scan reveals something thats treatable as i need help with this awful pain!.
Enjoy these ๐days svfarmer and take care. Xx๐ถ๐๐ค๐๐๐๐๐ป
What a lovely post Misty to a special lady, Kay! Misty, I'm glad you're having progress on the appointments and wishing you all the best for that scan on Saturday. Sending you virtual hugs. xx
Thank you muguet for your lovely message. So glad you liked the pic. I'm really glad your Rheumy appt was helpful. I did think of you. I'm really hopeful that this scan will provide the answer. I need it to as i've been so long suffering now. Will update when i get results.
Keep juggling , you do an amazing job. Hope rest of week is good for you. Xx
Such an adorable pic! It is obvious that the pup is so proud to be dressed like Mom. Glad to hear you are finally getting some progress and hope you get some answers. Thank you for sharing this pic and bringing a smile to my face.
Thank you so much dear Pumpkin for your lovely , supportive message. I'm so glad you liked the pic. I'm really hopeful this scan will give an answer and will update as soon as i know anything.
I hope your health has improved and your not still waiting to see a neuro. Sending lots of healing hugs back Xx
I did see the neuro. She has no answers about the hallucinations, but keeps reassuring me that it is a good sign I am aware they are not real. I can't help wonder how my brain can create such strange things. in the beginning, they were not scary, but now some are creepy. During her examination, she noticed weakness in both my legs, problems in my hands and feet so she did upper and lower testing nerve testing. . It showed considerable nerve damage which is continuing to get worse even since I saw here. She has been very cautious about adding more meds because I am already on so many which I understand. The neuropathy in the feet is affecting my walking and my right hand is not doing well at all. I also finally saw the ENT dr. that I had gone to in the past as I have lost the hearing in my left ear. I have fluid behind the eardrum. Right now I am trying nasal spray. If that doesn't work, he will drill a hole in the eardrum to drain it and see if that works.
Have you heard anything about your scan? Feeling horrible and waiting for answers is just not fair? You are always in my thoughts.
Thank you Pumpkin for your lovely mesdage and support. I'm very sorry at how much your suffering, the hallucinations must be very distressing specially now they're creepy!!. You know lupus can do strange things to our brains and cause them. Have you told your rheumy about them?. I'm so sorry at your worsened nerve damage, its pretty extensive isn't it?. I know how painful it can be. Did your neuro offer further tests in view of what she found and a treatment plan?. You must feel very down at learning all this despite taking lots of meds. I look at all mine and feel thoroughly depressed and its all a lot to organise too isnt it?.
I think you must be psychic as ive had my special liver MRI early today. I'm so relieved to finally have it done and it was an extensive test too which hopefully might give the answer. Results in a fortnight and i might get an appt from the Upper Gastro when he's got them. The end hopefully is in sight now, really need it as in such a lot of pain.
All the very best dear Pumpkin and i'll update you all when i know something.Sending lots of healing hugs to you. Xx๐ค๐๐ค๐๐ค๐๐ค๐๐ค๐๐ค
Hi misty, great to hear you have had your MRI , i hope you get the results ASAP !!
You have had such a log wait !
I love your cutie photo of your friend with her dog , she has a great smile ๐
Iโve finally got some appointments sorted for oncology and rheumatology, also got a dermatology added on as i a worrying mole ๐. Im on the run down to rituximab, im really tired and sore so hopefully it will help, im falling asleep at the drop of a hat at all times of the day ๐ด.
Hope your weather is nice at the moment, it pleasant here though still chilly at times . Take care and good luck with your results ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ ๐๐ผ xxx๐๐๐ค๐คโค๏ธ
Thank you weathervane for your lovely message. Sorry for later reply but i've been waiting to hear from the hospital. I'm glad you've got your retuximab dates sorted now but sorry for extra Dermy appt for a worrying mole. Hope your seen soon. My Dad was and he's got an op end May for removal of a big place!!. Hope your bloods will be ok for retuximab too. ๐คI hope your recovering from all that housework. You need to pace yourself better. You must have really felt it.
I had a letter from the Upper Gastric Surgeon that the MRI was normal , no gallstones!. He apologised for the wait and said he was looking forward to seeing me. As my appt isnt due till Aug and i'm in such a lot of PAIN i wrote him a nice letter outlining how i'm suffering and how long its been, 15 months now!!. I asked if i could go on list for next test and if he could suggest anything for the pain while i wait?.
I had a reply yesterday and i'm still in shock weathervane as he's bringing my appt forward(at last) and has recommended 2 different Indigestiin type pills. Will get it all this week. He said he wants to see me first before deciding on further tests. Everything i've been battling away for!!. Made my bank holiday. I hope you might be seeing friends on this one!. So many in May!!.
Hope your weather is warmer like ours. Keep me posted and TAKE CARE. Xx
Glad you got MRI results and it was clear , i take lansoprazole and gaviscon advance ( only on prescription) when things really bad , it is a big help. Fantastic that you are getting an earlier appointment, what a relief!!! Wait for appointments is so stressful!!!
Im feeling a bit better today, still sore but easing, had a lovely coffee with my friend, lots of chat ๐
Hope you have a lovely bank holiday weekend, its wet but warm here, hopefully drier on Monday. Take care xxxxโค๏ธ๐ค๐ค๐ฅฐ
Thanx so much weathervane for your lovely message.Glad you've recovered for the Bank Holiday. Our weather has improved too like yours. We've got ๐ today. Hope your enjoying it.
So pleased you liked the pic. You will love this week's so keep a watch. I shall be so jumpy now for the phone, post or text to hear about my new drugs and appointment. ๐คit isnt too long to wait!!.
Wasn't it sad about Len Goodman dying. He'd not been long retired from the USA version of Strictly. ?. The tributes were wonderful to him as he was such a gentleman.
Will you watch the coronation this weekend?. Be quite a spectacle i think.
I hope you get your appt's thru and we'll catch up again soon. Keeping ๐คXx
I was so sad to hear about Len , so sorry for all his family, he was a lovely man and full of fun !
Im keeping my fingers crossed that you get a call and appointment soon. I get so impatient ๐.
I wont watch all the coronation, probably pop in and out, will you watch it from the beginning to end and have a tea party? It will definitely be a spectacle!!
Its not a bad day here, i did have a short walk in the park, its very well kept with lots of flower beds and cherry blossoms, very relaxing place.
Looking forward to your next cutie and have a lovely coronation weekend xxโค๏ธ๐ฅฐ๐ค๐ค๐๐ผ๐
Thanx so much weathervane for your good wishes. We're doing what you will, dip in and out of the coverage. Its too much to sit thru all of it but i want to see how they're doing it as its so new and special to me. Not so my parents!. No street party either. The papers and tv have gone to town about it here and you get fed up before its begun which is a shame!. Do they in Ireland?.
Just hope the weather is kind like today. Glad you had a lovely walk in the park. I love this time of year seeing all the blossom.
๐คfor our appt's coming thru and enjoy the Coronation bits you watch. Xx๐บ๐
I never buy any papers misty , i just read things on line so just click on what interests me . There is alot about the coronation but im sure they go to town more in England.
I was watching Eastenders tonight and Alfie brought in a life size cut out of King Charles, i had noticed earlier today that they are selling them in Argos ๐
Have a lovely weekend, hope you enjoy โค๏ธ๐ฅฐ๐
