Hello EveryoneCan't believe its 'cutie' time again, fortnights fly by and i just had to share this good news story.
Chester Zoo is celebrating this new male western chimpanzee born recently as 80% of their numbers have been lost in the last 25 years. They're the rarest species of chimp and so this one gives a small but vital boost to there breeding program as they're so under threat in the wild.
Lovely seeing Mum holding him tightly!.
Hope your all keeping well warm and cosy as possible.

P.s, still waiting for my appointment as i know many of you are too. Its hard isnt it when we're in such need?. Xx

Thats wonderful chris as like the chimps , the rhinos are so endangered as well!. Its lovely to read /see these success stories. Must be great seeing him charging around!. If your about in a fortnight ive got another lovely one from chester zoo. It shows what importsnt work these zoos are doing.
Thanx for your good wishes as well. I hope i have appt news next time too. Have a good fortnight yourself. Xx

what a lovely picture, such a protective, proud mother 🥰
My fingers are still crossed for you getting an appointment soon, so frustrating for you.
I had to feed my sons cats this week as he was away for a number of days, they hid the first day but the next day they were waiting at the window and ran round my legs until i put the food out 😂 . They are so cute!!!
Thanx weathervane for your lovely mesdage and appt wishes. I'm keeping 🤞 i hear something soon. I 'm glad you liked the baby chimp. Mum holding him so close i loved too. In a fortnight i've got another new 'cutie' at Chester Zoo. They're doing well with their breeding programs.I love that your on cat feeding duties and how they sensed you were different from their usual feeder. They're so perceptive aren't they?. Are you doing it for long?.
A friend of ours has just lost her husband sadly and their cat knew something was different and wouldnt sleep with mum suddenly although she'd been on her bed at night for a year since husband went into a care home!. They're so sensitive too i guess. She's hoping her cat will come back to it soon as she missed her!.
Hope you found the pain book at Waterstones although i daresay they could order it for you?. Its a good read.
Hope too your getting the Spring sunshine we are. Its lovely seeing the daffodils out and being warmer.
So sorry about your friend and her cat , i was wondering if she had a scarf or some item of her husband’s, it might attract the cat back and be comforting.
I have bought the book on my kindle as I find it easier than a book, I haven’t started it yet but i will soon . The pain in my legs has got worse so I need to find a way of coping until i hear from oncology again.
The weather has been a bit spring like lately, particularly today, it definitely lifts your spirits!!!
Thanx weathervane for your great message and idea for my friend's cat. That is brilliant and i'll pass it on if needed. Hopefully her cat has gone back to sleeping with her, they have a close bond since her husband went into care!. Are you relieved of cat feeding duties yet?.
I'm sorry your legs are so painful and your stuck now waiting for oncology!. Could you not tell them its worsened as thats miserable?. Glad you've got the Pain Book on your kindle. Its the sort of book to dip in and out of, rather than to read it cover to cover. I hope it helps.
Its lovely seeing the sun again today, does wonders for our spirits. Take care this fortnight and keep safe too. Xx🌻💕🤞💐🤞🙏🌻
