Hello everyoneJust popping by to wish you all a Happy and Healthy Christmas as possible.
Thought i'd show you these cute 'woolly jumpers' as their newborn lambs on a farm in Surrey. Early ones hence the pullovers!.
Its a lovely thought though that Spring is soon as we've just had the shortest day.
Take Care everyone
MistyXx

Aw They are adorable 🥰 nice to think that spring isn’t far away.
I’m still waiting for an appointment at respiratory medicine. Still really struggling with my asthma after having Covid 😞 There is a respiratory consultant at my local hospital who has an interest in respiratory problems after Covid so I am hoping I see him.
Glad that you have been given more pain relief. Hopefully you will get your operation for your foot sooner than 12-18 months too.
I hope that you have a lovely Christmas and thank you for your cutie pics. They always brighten my day. Xx 🐑 🎅🏼 🎄
Thank you ge for your lovely message. So glad you liked the lambs. I'm so sorry you still havent been seen by respiratory for your asthma!. Could your gp put some pressure on for you?. I'm glad there is an expert one for long covid but its so frustrating when you can't get there!. Ive got a similar situation for my liver as the consultsnt is a biliary expert and sounds really good but its a long wait to see him!!. Its hard too as our lives are on hold waiting in need!.
I do hope you all have as happy a Christmas as possible and your seen soon in 2023. Take Care. Xx🐏💕🐏🤞
Thank you so much cecily. The extra pain relief has worked well thankfully. I hope your enjoying your christmas as i am and we enjoy Strictly later on. Our last fix!. Take care. Xx🐏💕🐏🤞🐏💕
Thank you lovely. Soooo much on today, Strictly, Eastenders, Call the Midwife, Great Pottery Showdown. I will be in heaven whilst stuffing my face with veggies. Enjoy your day xxx
Merry Christmas misty 🤗🌲⛄Very cute lambs and oh so very early..they'll need those jumpers!! I'm glad you've got stronger pain relief..that's something I suppose. As for the rest unfortunately it seems to be the way right now..waiting, waiting n then more waiting! 😔I've just had a letter cancelling my dermy appt n moving it from February to April. I've got nothing urgent now though so that's something to be thankful for.
All the best to you and your family over the festive season 💜🌈😽😽xx
Merry Christmas jrazykat, hope your all having a peaceful, happy day. Thank you for your lovely wishes too. .I'm sorry you've had your dermy appt changed to April. Its tough when we need advice and our illnesses can change quickly. Glad your ok at the mo. I hope you will be able to reduce the steroids again next year.
It really is the waiting game at the mo with the nhs just dealing with emergency stuff Jan and Feb. It delays everything else.
What fabulous knitted jumpers on equally fabewelous lambs!🥰 Thanks for the cuteness on Christmas Day as it pours with rain outside. Just heading to the kitchen to start the meal. Have a lovely day Misty. Love and hugs. 🎄🎁💕🥂🎅🏼Xxx
Thank you spotty for all your lovely greetings. So glad you enjoyed the lambs. Hope you have as lovely a day as i am and you enjoy your meal. We had heavy rain to start with and its brightened up now with some sun. Could be a good sign!.
Hope your steroid injection has kicked in a bit more too. Xx🐏💕🐏🌈🎄🌈💕
It has been showery off and on all day here Misty. ☹️ But I’m enjoying my day despite my bicep tendonitis still causing a lot of pain. 😩 Thank goodness hubby is here to help me lift things in an out the oven and reaching for things in cupboards. 👍🏻 It is now 10 days since the steroid injection, so I don’t think it will get much better sadly. I’ll be letting Dr Nick know next week as he said he’d send me for an MRI if this injection didn’t work.
Pleased you are very slowly getting somewhere with your health issues and appts. Very slowly is better than no progress at all. I’m sure my August Rheumy appt won’t be until next year now.🙄
Thank you for all your lovely posts with cute pictures to make us all smile and help us get through when you are going through so much yourself.
Hoping 2023 is a better one for all of us.🙏🏻 Love and hugs. 💕🤗xxx
Thank you spotty ewe for your lovely message. I hope your enjoying a quieter day today with less chores. I'm very sorry at the limited benefit of the steroid injection and agree that the sooner your on the MRI list the better as it will sadly be a long wait for you.
Maybe also you could use the bicep tendonitis as a way of putting pressure on to get your rheumy appt as you need help with it? Maybe Dr Nick could email them for you?.
Its very much the hare and the tortoise story for us all who are desperately waiting for nhs treatment!. But you know who wins in the end spotty?. 🙂 Its the waiting that can be so hard.
Enjoy a relaxing few days and i will be in touch soon. So glad you loved the lambs. Big hugs. Xx🐏💕🐏🤞🙏Xx
Yes thank you Misty a much quieter day today. 😁 Bubble & Squeak for dinner so nice and easy. 👍🏻 Thank you for your kind sympathy re my tendonitis which isn’t really easing after the steroid injection. I’ll see what Dr Nick says when he’s back (next week!☹️) and whether he can give Rheumy a push. Otherwise I’ll leave a message on their helpline to see if that helps.🤞
Hoping your biliary pain continues to lesson Misty and I hope the foot surgeon is in touch with you much sooner than they predict.🙏🏻
Take care Misty and I look toward to hearing from you soon. Heaps of hugs. 💕🤗🤗🤗🙏🏻 xxx
Happy New Year, Misty! Just trying to catch up. These little darling are so sweet and hopeful and love their jumpers. I am so glad you are getting some pain relief and that there is some expectation of help for your foot. I did get to the neurosurgeon, but did not get to see the doctor who did my previous surgeries and think the world of. It is a complicated story and makes no sense, but I was very distressed to see an assistant. The all right side is that the opionion is as far as the rare cyst is, I most likely have had it since birth so that makes it unlikely it is causing the symptoms. The PA said in 19 years, he had never seen it on an mri before. Then, When I asked why it hadn't been noticed until now, it got interesting. He looked at my past scans from their files of me, and guess what? it was there all the time. Which would also mean that it has been there on every scan forever, but I guess because it didn't match up to any symptoms, no one noticed???? Rather scary and shows how things are missed. AS far as any insight into what is causing the hallucinations, he made it very clear that that is not the neurosurgeon's job. I still feel my doctor had I been able to see him as I was supposed to, would have at least made me feel more comfortable and not been so dismissive. I have an appointment with a neurolgoist in the future, but my daughter said the reviews are not very good. I am still going to hope that all of this goes away. I would really like to just live with them, but they could be caused by so many things including eye diseases.
At the moment, I have been ill with a severe cough, headache, fever, etc. and got checked out to make sure not covid. The doctor is treating it as an acute sinus infection. It started New Year's Day. Am hoping the meds will help soon. Not how I planned to start the new year.
Happy New Year dear Pumpkin but i'm ever so sorry yours has started with an acute sinus infection. I do hope you start to feel better soon as they can make you feel so ill. I'm also ever so sorry you didnt see your trusted neurosurgeon at your appt but a rather dismissive registrar. It must have been very distressing to learn the rare cyst had always been there so maybe not a cause for your symptoms. They must have loved being able to discharge you from their care and now your left with waiting for neurology appt!. I do hope it won't be too long and they will be able to explain and treat these awful hallucinations.
Will keep my 🤞for you dear pumpkin. Thank you for your good wishes. I had a fortnight of lovely pain relief but its now back despite the extra morphine. Just hoping i get an appt soon. Its awful waiting in need isnt it?.
Another 'cutie pic' is coming soon. Sending healing hugs and lots of love. Xx
