Just thought id post a pic of these cutie leopard cubs. Don't often see them, these are 6 weeks old and are at a Zoo in Germany.
I hope you agree what adorable faces they have and you're doing as well as possible. ?.

🥰 adorable! Glad to hear the surgeon was pleased with how your foot is healing. Hopefully podiatry will be able to cure the new pain.
Pleased to say I got the appointment for my second Pfizer jab. It is on 23rd July, which is two weeks on Friday.
Have a busy week coming up. My Mum’s birthday, (a big one!), is on Tuesday. We are taking her out for afternoon tea and a very good, socially distanced coffee shop. It is then my birthday on Thursday but no plans for that at the moment.
Lovely hearing from you ge. So pleased you've got your 2nd jab soon. That will give you a feeling of added security hopefully. My podiatry is 17 th so hopefully we'll bring each other good luck.Happy birthday to you for thursday and your mum's big one. I find those big ones difficult because of wondering what to buy and if its enough!. I hope you enjoy the afternoon tea, lovely idea for a celebration.
Hope you get to do something nice for yours.
Have a safe and happy week ge and i want to hear about it next week. Xx🐆❤🐆
Misty, I hope your appointment goes well. It is Gigi's birthday so I think that is a good omen. I know that healing is a good sign, but pain can take longer. I know when I broke the my neck and wrist, it was healing which was a great relief, but the pain and ability to do things took so much longer. Actually, will never be quite right, but I survived. Gigi, Pumpkin and I will keep you in our thoughts.
Thank you pumpkin for your lovely , supportive message. It helps me a lot to know of others experiences. Im sorry you really went thru it with a broken wrist and neck. Were they done together?. Its awful that they're not completely right but i hope they don't hinder you too much!.
Is gigi your pet?. I will let you all know how podiatry goes. Take care and keep safe. Xx
Actually, Gigi is a border collie who came into our lives unexpectedly. She just showed up and we tried to find her family. It turned out that she belonged to illegal breeders and the animal shelter people told us not to give her back to them. We had already had her for 10 days and were attached. They did not seem to have any bond with her - not even the children. So, without batting an eye, they sold her to us. Then I wanted to leash train her. Everyone told me I wasn't strong enough and I didn't listen. Everything was going well until one day she saw a squirrel. I am not exactly sure what happened next except I ended up hurt and she came and got by my side. She is very sweet and loving, but I do have to be careful as she can be very exuberant. Pumpkin is our cat and my very protective soul mate. He finds Gigi quite entertaining, but keeps her in her place when she gets too silly. Gigi will be 2 on the 17th. This is probably more than you wanted to know.
Healing hugs and hope for a good podiatrist visit.
Thank you pumpkin for your lovely message. I love stories like these. Pumpkin is a wonderful name for a cat, unusual. Is she ginger by any chance?. I used to have a cat and miss her terribly. Misty is the name of a neighbours cat who visited most days but shes gone too now and i miss her.
Collie's can be full of life as they're working dogs really but its fantastic you rescued gigi from those awful breeders!. Its shocking whats happening!. You obviously have such a special bond with her. I do hope you have a happy, long life with her. Thank you for sharing them pumpkin and for your good podiatry wishes. Keep safe and well. Xx❤🐯❤🐯❤
Hi Misty how beautiful are these Cubs? Wonderful news that the surgeon is happy with your healing lovely. I really hope the podiatrist can help with your pain. Xxx
Thank you lovely cecily, glad you liked the cubs. They certainly are cute. Thank you for your lovely wishes re podiatry. Im sure he'll be able to help, been to him before and he's easy to talk to. How is your knee and are you going to get it evaluated?. Hope its settled a bit more Xx
My knee is still painful, mainly just behind the back of the knee. I really do not want to go back to the Orthopaedic Clinic but feel that physiotherapist intervention would be beneficial. Sadly they are still not accepting self referrals so I am very much hoping that my Rheumatologist will refer me, if not I will have to call the GP. I have my first Rheumatology appointment in 18 months next Monday. Sadly it is a telephone appointment but at least he has responded to my Respiratory Specialists request to see me and I truly hope that maybe it will lead to some actual treatment and support for me. I have not had monitoring of bloods, been physically examined for so long by Rheumatology. Fingers crossed eh? Xxx
Hi cecily, maybe also once all the restrictions are lifted in two weeks , physio will allow self referrals. We can already at our gp surgery, not sure about hospital. That is shocking that rheumy's not seen you in 18 months cecily. I remember when you had just talked to him and he promised to help you and was very positive. It was your first appt then and first time we started chatting!. He has a lot to catch up on and make up for cecily and really should be seeing you face to face!.
🤞 for monday that its a helpful appt cecily. Do let me know how you get on. Best of luck. Xx😀❤😀
I really hope so Misty. I have suffered so many flares, gone through boxes of local anaesthetic gel because I have had nothing else to fight the ulceration with and my GP frankly could not give a damn. I am almost scared to hope you know because when I spoke to him all that time ago he gave me such hope I cried and was so grateful and then he just left me to cope alone. No blood tests, no treatment. It is so not good enough. I will let you know thank you so much for your kindness. It is so very much appreciated xxx
It's truly shocking cecily the way you've been treated and not treated. I do understand how you must feel , scared to hope too much as he's let you down badly!. I hope you can make him see this!. As for your GP , maybe a change might help but let's see what the hospital says first?. I really hope Monday gives you progress cecily. 👌🏻tightly crossed. Xx
Thank you. It is a difficult time to change GP isn’t it. Currently I am unable to chose who I speak to. Strangely the youngest GP there openly acknowledges that she does know much about autoimmune conditions but at least she is approachable and willing to help. I just cannot get to speak to her. Hopefully when / if we get back to some sense of routine I can actively seek her out but until then I am getting the patronising, condescension that makes me so very angry. I am always polite and grateful for any help so when I do ask I really need it. The last time telling me my nosebleeds were anxiety made me so mad I told her thank you sorry I have to go, otherwise I would have lost it. Hopefully now that I have ENT and the Respiratory Consultants support Rheumatology might try to help, that is all I can ask. No one has a magic wand but if they try then I am content with that. Thank you again Misty xxx
Very cute Misty, and looking as though they are wondering what mischief they can get up to! 😆 Good news the surgeon was pleased with the way your foot is healing and I hope the Podiatrist will sort out the new pain you are experiencing.
