No excuses this morning - absolutely glorious perfect conditions. I don’t seem to be able to get back into a proper groove at the moment and I haven’t been out for 10 days - but Ebony and I had a lovely run this morning. Felt great woohoo. Just need to stop being a fair weather runner I think!
If you zoom in, at the low tide mark you can see the reinforcements put down for D Day embarkation. Whenever the tide is low like this in the summer it always stops me in my tracks when I think of all those young men and what they were going into.
happy running everyone and enjoy the fab weather at last 😎

Great run. It’s such a nice feeling when you haven’t been for a while and you tick one off. It makes going out for the next one so much easier! If you can get in a rhythm where you’re running consistently, it is easier to maintain. It’s something most of us struggle with so you’re not alone!
thanks MissUnderstanding my intention is to get back to 2/3 times a week but as yet it just hasn’t happened- but today was so lovely it has certainly made me look forward to the next!
Lovely photos - I can’t see why you felt guilt.. maybe you would have been put off running if you don’t enjoy it in bad weather? And it looks like you enjoyed this run all the more after a little break. Renewed enthusiasm, and hopefully lots of good weather from now on..🤞☺️
