For this run, I only recorded the actual running part. My aim was obviously to run for 30mins. I did 33, and 3.7km, which is reasonable. A little slower than last weeks pace, but I'm out there to run, not race.
It was definitely weird with no voices telling where you were, but as I was doing my usual route, it was easy to tell how far along I was. I didn't feel stressed or even like I was pushing too hard. I guess after a few weeks of consolidation I'll be able to start pushing. For now the 30 minutes is enough, with a view to 5K.
Thanks again for all the help and encouragement!

It's great to get out there after graduation 👍If you haven't already done so, take a look at the consolidation club or join us in the bridge to 10k forum .
If you still want to use guided runs take a look at the NRC app (nike run club)
I was looking for the consolidation post, but couldn't find it. I've looked at it a few times, and I've just realised it's probably on my W9R3 post responses.
Great to hear the enthusiasm after graduating and I love that you are happy with distance. I’m not going to stress too much about it either once I finally graduate. I’m a newbie ! Sounds like you really enjoyed it
Most people do around 10-15 Consolidation runs of 30 minutes. (Some do more, some fewer.) It builds your stamina (and confidence.) After that you can then move on to the next phase - speed and/or distance. Bridge to 10K is really good. Reading it now can give you a Framework for your next phase . I did the Bridge to 60 minutes first then moved on to the 10K Plan. I'm up to 8K now - I run about your pace (a bit slower when I do my longer runs). During C25K I got a bit concerned about pace, now I just run.
I'd recommend the Nike running app. It's free, takes a little while to work around but you can choose pre planned distances and its just like the C25k app but its triggered by distance when you get the guidance instead of the time your on
Helps if your still looking for a marker to know where you are
Yep, I was looking at it. What I also need to do is find more routes. The issue around where I live is it's all hills. There are noticeable inclines on my current route, but everything else is far steeper.
I'm just completing the Week 9 runs (for the second time) and was curious about where others are in their final distance in 30 mins. I found this chart encouraging. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
My current runs are 4k/36 mins with gradual improvements. Pace wise it's 8:54.. But as I did 3.86k walk in 42:30 yesterday, it's only marginally faster than my brisk walk. I'm not worried, I'm building slowly to avoid injury.
