No running

I have had quite a painful foot this week. My doctor yesterday thinks it's osteoarthritis in my big toe of all places. He's told me not to run for the next week. I'm so disappointed as since starting the Couch to 5k programme this year I love the freedom of running & feeling the wind in my hair

Sorry to hear that you’re in pain, but good to see you got it checked out. If your doctor is correct in his diagnosis then it doesn’t have to mean the end of your running journey. As well as medical interventions there are things arthritic runners can do to help. runnersworld.com/training/a...
