Dietary Approaches to Improve Efficacy and Control Side Effects of Levodopa Therapy in Parkinson's Disease: A Systematic Review
L-
Phenylalanine
. Dug a little deeper and it related to protein and impact on levodopa. Found an interesting article on nutrition and PD too. I wonder if you could still take the Amino acids a few hours away from the C/L. Folate, B6 and B12 remain important.

Energy-starved breast cancer cells consume their surroundings for fuel, research suggest
"HPDL-mediated metabolism of tyrosine and
phenylalanine
could represent a metabolic vulnerability of cancer cells thriving in a nutrient-deprived microenvironment."

I asked Chat GPT "Which foods contain or promote dopamine"?
Foods high in tyrosine include: Almonds, walnuts, and other nuts Avocados Bananas Eggs Lean meats (chicken, turkey, beef) Fish (salmon, trout, tuna) Legumes (beans, lentils) Foods Rich in
Phenylalanine
:
Phenylalanine
is another amino acid involved in dopamine synthesis.

The problem with Buprenorphine, BTBD9 and serotonin syndrome
I get some stomach acidity from Buprenorphine and often use Rennies as all other acid controlling substances increase RLS (note that one of the inactive ingredients in Gaviscon is aspartame, and it’s made from
phenylalanine
, which in turn is the precursor to dopamine).

Phenylethylamine is NOT Palmitoylethanolamide! They are both called PEA. I take Palmitoylethanolamide
While the cause of dopaminergic neuronal cell death in Parkinson’s disease (PD) is not yet understood, many endogenous molecules have been implicated in its pathogenesis. β-phenethylamine (β-PEA), a component of various food items including chocolate and wine, is an endogenous molecule produced from

amino acids not recognised as essential in humans such as taurine play a role in fibromyalgia,
They found that overall levels of amino acids were lower in fibromyalgia and that seven amino acids were especially low, including taurine, alanine, tyrosine, valine, methionine,
phenylalanine
, and threonine. The pattern of amino acid deficiency was especially suggestive of a problem with the sympathetic

“The three amino acids that are most effective at increasing dopamine levels are l-tyrosine, L-dopa, and phenylalanine.”
Anyone using these in combination? I think adding SAM-e to this might work synergistically? I’m learning other means of increasing dopamine to wean off of Azilect.

T3 / T4 combination therapy dose advice?
Another piece if information that came up in the DNA result, which I wonder if it could be relevant relates to how my body could have impaired ability to convert
phenylalanine
to tyrosine. Given tyrosines role as a building block of thyroid hormone, I wonder if this could be linked?

(L-
Phenylalanine
or L-Tyrosine or L-Dopa ), L-Tryptophan or 5-HTP, L-Theanine I can say personally that DHT and EPT Omega-3 i.e. found in fish oil does help improve effects of ADHD meds in general.

BCAAs - Tyrosine, phenylalanine - protein powders
I've read PCa feeds off of
phenylalanine
so wise to avoid the aspartame artificial sweetner. Tyrosine sounds closely related? Or is moderate intake of protein powders not that different than moderate intake of animal sources of protein, all having BCAAs?

60 Not Out, Your Grumpy Viral Meningitis Survivor, is back
What followed was a long recovery, I was off work for nearly 6 months and left with a range of after effects including intolerances to caffeine, cocoa, alcohol, nuts, coconut and
phenylalanine
. So, did VM crush me?

Came across this book while researching Wahls protocol on recovery from Alzheimer's and neuro degeneration.
Suggest tyrosine and
phenylalanine
to dopamine production. I am not recommending the book Bought it on Amazon kindle $10 or used for $6. It may be available through kindle lending library (public library ebook). Cheaper than some of the scientific articles I have bought.

REFINING MY PREVIOUS QUESTION (,,, food for thought): should it be preferable in PSP to take phenylalanine instead of tyrosin supplements?
Or otherwise should it be preferable in PSP to take
phenylalanine
supplements instead of tyrosine supplements? Kind regards

Also shows Asparagine, Histidine, L-Glutamine and
Phenylalanine
, with a list of other areas of imbalance. My concern is with having PA, if I can't absorb B12 from my diet or tablets, will I also have the same issue with B1 & Vit A?
