Gastritis attacks and PA
I get attacks of gastritis a few times per year and I was wondering if others with PA get gastritis as well. I will have sharp burning pain right below my rib cage and in my chest, distension, sharp upper back pain, and widespread mid abdominal pain. It will get worse after eating. I wonder if it is

Possible relapse, trouble seeing Rheumatologist.
Hi, I have not posted in quite some time. Read other's mostly, and since I have been in remission for 7-8 years I have not had much I could add to conversation. I was diagnosed with GPA in 2015. Put on pred and mycophenolate initially, then two rounds of rituximab. I have been med free since 2016

I have IBS Mixed (I think).. I can go to the loo 6 times a day, but it is loose and feels incomplete, which i have read can actually be constipation. Other times i have the bad cramping and explosive D. Currently trying Alflorex and Optifibre to try and bulk the stool, with not much improvement yet

Bleeding 3 weeks on desogesterel
I have been taking Desogesterel since March and at first it was fine, I still had a monthly bleed on it which was not painful. In July I discussed future conception with a GP who told me that i would be fine coming off the pill and ignored my endo diagnosis because i had it done privately.. I came off

My Bladder Cancer Update.
My latest flexy cystoscopy showed I had no tumour in my bladder, backing up what was said in Autumn 2023 and that was a complete turn-around. Seems my BCG has worked in as far as there si no tumour growth. I still have cancer cells because I have cancer in situ (CIS) but at moment is low grade. So

Lesions on the Bowel
Hi there, I have recently undergone laparoscopic excision of endometriosis and adhesiolysis at the end of January. So over a week post op. My surgeon found deep and well established lesions from my Sigmoid, lower part of my bowel to the wall of my left ovary. All of my peritoneum was excised completely

A good nights sleep
I think every body will agree that whenever we first get tinnitus fear and terror runs through our veins and the one thing it effects is our sleep, i remember my first few months and especially the first few weeks i was so scared i would keep getting out of bed, walking round going in to the garden ,

Hiatus Hernia
I had a endoscopy on Thursday. I have a sliding hiatus hernia, oesophagitis/reflux and gastritis. Does anyone suffer with this and does anyone manage this without taking prescription drugs?

I feel completely lost!!
I’m not sure if I’m in the right place as I haven’t even been diagnosed with anything but my mind is going into over drive and wanted some advice. I’ve been experiencing abdominal pain on/off since early November. It’s only on my right side and goes into my pelvic area, hip and back even up to my ribs

Wednesday The 14th.
I promised a painting for the 14 and being a heart shape canvas I could not use the easel. I ruined the picture with my sleeve going in paint on palate and it got onto painting - Ruined. I have done one not as good by painting the canvas black, and painted a picture ok for black canvas, Could not

Oncolytic Virotherapy Platform Designed to Target All Tumor Sites: we will have some news soon, oncolytics are very promising (CLD-201)
– Preclinical models have demonstrated the ability to resist oncolytic virus inactivation by human serum and target diverse tumor types – Novel therapeutic approach allows for ease of administration, increased cost-effectiveness, and the ability to reach a broad patient population Enough for me to

buprenorphine study
Just wondering what people think about the recent study below? Study population was people with opioid use disorder (OUD) who are taking buprenorphine to manage it. Apparently an unusually high percentage of participants had RLS symptoms. I thought Bup alleviated symptoms? I’m in the process of getting

I replied to Jean Jeannie’s post about Food Additives. She suggested I posted separately about this. I recently received some OTO Sleep drops as a gift. They are designed to be taken under the tongue just before bed, and contain 10% CBD with a ‘complementary blend of botanicals’ . This forum has

Endocrinologist recommendations in/near West Sussex for Addison's / adrenals
Can anybody recommend an endocrinologist in West Sussex or nearby please who knows about adrenals and Addison's? It comes as no surprise to me, but a private blood screen has just shown very low cortisol levels and a couple of other bits, that suggest an adrenal problem, possibly Addison's. I've not

Problems with medication supplies
Hi. Since I recently swapped to home deliveries for medication, every 4 weeks some meds are missing or out of stock.I didn't have this problem when I ordered directly from the GP, changed over because I was struggling to get into town to collect my prescriptions. The messages from Lloyds Pharmacy says

Should I stick?
I've was diagnosed with AF about eleven years ago and it's managed with Bisoprolol and Rivaroxaban and save feeling of breathlessness sometimes, especially when bending down, my AF is asymptomatic but permanent. Since moving from Warfarin about seven years ago I rarely think about it as a condition.
