The sky is falling
Sometimes I just feel like the sky is falling in. I did have a good counseling session today. And once home, I even paid two bills - my student loan and my car. I am having a hard time finding out how to pay hospital, and COBRA insurance. I'm pretty much behind in everything but if I can just make some

I ran 20 minutes and feeling really proud
I completed my third run of week 5 today and I couldn't be happier! I decided to get into the running and the podcasts for 3 reasons: (a) I've been putting on a fair bit of weight - I know it's not a fat-losing regime as such but I knew I could do with getting a lot fitter. (b) I'm asthmatic - I

Just frustrated.
You know, Im embarrassed to say I have a Masters in counseling. It shouldn't be so painful to wake up most mornings, and it shouldn't be so damn hard to pull myself out of bed when I do feel so badly. Shouldn't I be able to help myself? I can work with other people, help them feel better and provide

Hi there, I'm new here and starting off with a moan, sorry. I thought you might understand where I was coming from. I'm 26, diagnosed with RA two years ago about a year after I first started getting pain but I was always tired before that. Pain is now pretty much under control so my nurse has said they

I feel defeated.
Hi everyone, I feel defeated. My anxiety feels like it is finally winning. I'm a 25 year old health professional (I know right, I should be all over this stuff!) and I've suffered with anxiety for the past 4 years. It's been bad/ hard to control for the last 6 months. I feel anxious about everything

ED abroad
Hi. Just wondering if any of you lovely ladies have experienced ED abroad. My partner and I have had 2 heart breaking ivf attempts but unfortunately I was a poor responder. ED is the next step for us. We have been looking at the clinic in Valencia (IVI) as this is the partner company for out clinic

Hello. Introducing myself
I joined a couple months back while conducting research, but this is my 1st time writing. My father has depression and anxiety and has taken Lexapro (and a few other meds) for years, with mixed results. For years, people have been warning me that I may turn out like him (depressed, sometimes aloof, sometimes

Hi, I've been reading a little while and am dead impressed with the knowledge here. I'm not really sure of my next steps and I was wondering what you all recommended. I've been working with a nutritionist to try and lose weight /have more energy and after getting nowhere with dieting, she sent me for
