CLL & Covid
June 23, 2022 Good news; Husband finally tested Negative for Covid. Eleven days from positive. Still a bit tired. Also feeling thankful. Fairly mild case of Omicron. Took the drug Paxlovid the day after testing positive. I truly believe it made a difference. It could have been so different 🥰

Covid spring booster Scotland
I got my booster today only because one dr in my surgery said I should go and walk in to a centre and ask for it. A month ago another gp at my surgery said I don’t qualify. If you are in Scotland with our rising covid rates and awaiting your invitation just make a wee trip to your local centre and make

Moderna!!
So here I am.....in bed feeling as rough as I've done for some time, and more than just a little sorry for myself. Yesterday morning, I went for my 5th covid vaccination and was given Moderna this time....I've previously had two AZ and two Pfizer with absolutely no adverse effects. Throughout the day

Does Covid Set You Back?
Felt like I was making progress from this bought with depression. Then got sick last week thinking it was just a bad cold, coughing and sneezing, since I had Covid in January and figured I still had antibodies. But my husband is convinced we both got Covid. First time having it really set me back and

Trying to complete but things are against me!
I've done the C25K twice before and for various reasons didn't continue running. So am now on attempt three. I've gotten to week 5 and now life has conspired against me again. First a foot infection after getting an insect bite and now Covid has caught up with me so haven't run for a few weeks. I expect

Covid
Hi all. I tested positive for covid 3 weeks ago. After I was testednegative I feel really poorly. This has been for two weeks now. I got steroids and antibiotics over a week ago as asthma flared up and dr thought I had infection. I feel really ill. Has anyone else been like this. I have severe fatigue

Chronic Fatigue after covid
I had a terrible case of covid in July 2021. Contracted pneumonia and was in the hospital. I have recovered a bit, but still have issues, namely brain fog, asthma, and chronic fatigue. I work in the school system so I am now thankfully off for the summer. I hope to get some stamina back but the fatigue

Vaccinations for covid19 done after Transplant: if you got covid19, what were symptoms and outcome
My spouse had his transplant 3.5 yrs ago and we both received our covid19 vaccination/booster shots afterwards. If you got covid19, what were your symptoms and outcome. If you know how you got it, please share. We have been living very isolated for 3.5 yrs. We do not go into anyone's house or allow them

Immunologist/Allergist Appointment
I had an appointment with the immunologist/allergist. As I had written earlier, I was extremely nervous and doubtful about the whole thing. He turned out to be very nice, a great listener, didn't look at me like I had 2 heads, knowledgeable. I started with only 2 main concerns - the almost daily diarrhea

Rituximab and covid
I've been on Rituximab successfully for several years now. But since learning that Rituximab reduces the impact of covid vaccinations, my rheumatologist is understandably slow to prescribe the next infusion. I think they will, but I'm interested to know whether anyone else on Rituximab has successfully
