Amitriptyline
Hi there, has anyone been given Amitriptyline for there tummy troubles, I've just been prescribed it, my tummy has been really bad recently, painful bloating, diarrhoea, sickness, acid indigestion, palpitations etc, I don't think it's my colitis, I think it's more likely my ibs. Has this medication

Prescribed hydroxychloroquine
I’ve not been on for a while After months on amitriptyline for fibromyalgia I’ve just seen a different rheumatologist at my follow up and was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis/early RA. She prescribed hydroxychloroquine which sounds quite well tolerated. I’m a bit worried about the long term eye

Amitriptyline and bladder problems
Having taken Amitriptyline for many years for pain relief, I have finally weaned myself off it. However, I now have what the Drs are diagnosing as Overactive Bladder Syndrome. I have never had bladder probs before and my bladder has been scanned and is healthy. I know that Amitrip is used in children

Hi does anyone take amitriptyline at night?
My rheumatologist has put me on 10mg a night to help reduce my prednisolone. I took my first dose last night but feeling a bit odd this morning. I wonder if I should have taken it earlier than 8.30p.m ?

Trigeminal Neuralgia... Or not? 🤷🏻♂️
For about 6 years I've had a tingling, pins and needles sensation along the bridge of my nose & just above my eyebrows. I went to see my GP who referred me to a neurologist who carried out various tests, a scan on my head and all was normal.... With the results, my GP was at a loss 🙄 but put it down

Struggling with IBS D
I’ve been lurking on this forum for some time now and finally decided it was time to post. I’ve noticed that some people give background so will do this; I lost around 7 stone in weight (through calorie counting & exercise- only mentioning to rule out dumping syndrome from gastric band) 6/7 years ago

Reducing amitriptyline problems
Hi everyone. I've had ibs d for 30 years. About a year ago I started taking 5mg of amitriptyline to try and help my symptoms. I don't get stomach cramps just a short uncomfortable feeling after I've eaten, usually lunchtime, then I have urgent runny poo. This was happening three or four times a week
