20, Recent Diagnosis of FND and Very Confused
I am a 20 year old University student and I'm struggling dealing with this diagnosis. I've suffered from chronic middle ear infections for 6 years now, except last year I ended up with an inner ear infection which took 9 months to clear up. During this time I ended up having to move home and temporarily

Hi all, I will probably be zonked out before anyone has a chance to comment on my post but I have a question? I am going to GPs tomorrow morning for a chat about my having received 4 of 5 therapeutic b12 injections along with being put on amitriptyline 10mg for what I now know are classic neuro symptoms

Newbie here.
Hi everyone I have posted a while back as I think I may have fibro. I have an underactive thyroid and my symptoms do not seem to respond to medication (i have tried several). I have always thought my symptoms were thyroid related but am now beginning to wonder. My symptoms are tender spots all over

Your experience of pain management programmes?
Before you answer, please note that the forum guidelines do not allow names of individual clinics or doctors to be mentioned, although that makes it a bit difficult to discuss this... My question is :Has anyone participated in a pain management programme or therapy on the NHS and did you find it helped

amitriptyline
Hi all, I'm new on here. I've had Rls for years but didn't mention it to a doctor as my Mum always said it was in our family! I used to get it occasionally but it's getting worse. My doctor has prescribed amitriptyline, it helps me sleep but still have the Rls , has anyone else been given this drug?

I think my doctor is trying to sabotage me..
Ok, so maybe she's not doing it intentionally, but she is definitely contributing. I had a gastric sleeve surgery in March. Everything was great, I had lost about 100 lbs over 4 months, but I was struggling a bit with depression. My Dr. put me on prozac. Well, a month in, and not only did I stop

Amitriptyline only
I used to take Cipralex and Amitriptyline , found taking both helped with my mood , sleep and pain. About 6 months ago my doctor took me off Cipralex because taking both was dangerous ( pity took them 6 months to tell me). Doctor suggested I stopped taking Amitriptyline and increase dose on antidepressants
