Has anyone had similar symptoms?
It all started at the beginning of July..I went to a spa and had a chemical reaction. I was wrongly told to use a steroid cream and thrush pessary and cream and not long after using these I developed pain inside my vagina and a feeling of a full bladder. The pain inside would flare up and down and felt

Problem With Finger Prick Test
Hello This morning I got up early to carry out a finger prick test. I could not collect enough blood for the sample. All I could obtain was one thick sticky looking immobile blob of blood from each finger. I completed a finger prick test for another company in the past with no problems. I followed

Low Stomach Acid
hi again, I am still trying to get my Levothyroxine increased with my doctor after previous posts. In the meantime I have tried the Bicarb test for 5 days continuously and did not burp at all! I guess that is a reasonable guide to tell me that I have low stomach acid due to being undermedicated. Has

Gut Health/ Gut Healing
Hi all, I feel like this might be the next step in my healing journey so would be keen to hear thoughts. What are the different protocols you have tried to correct 'leaky gut', gut dysbiosis and gut infections? Beyond the elimination diets, gluten free, paleo etc. Has anyone found the following helpful

Sleep Apnoea!
Some will remember that I have posted a few times about my trouble with sleeping, especially withdrawing from Amitriptyline when that wasn’t helping the sleep any more. Well, it appears that I have moderate sleep apnoea. My sleep is disturbed over 19 times per hour! This has led to me having to get

Is Living a Normal Life Again Possible?
Hi, I'm new here, hoping for help from the forum. My diarrhoea started on 13th June, 2022 and has continued daily to date (11th August, 2022). After a range of tests, which were all normal, my GP has diagnosed IBS-diarrhoea. I've started a low dose of amitriptyline and I also use loperamide occasionally

medication that makes RLS worse
I need to know which medications , especially pain relief and sleeping meds, make RLS worse. Some years ago I was given pain relief and sleeping meds after rotator cuff surgery and spent the whole night walking around my room. I have another procedure coming up and want to avoid a repeat. I know

Afraid to get better? Do you self sabotage yourself
Is anyone else here afraid to get better? That for some reason you're holding on to your depression because it's more comfortable to be miserable than to improve? Is it the unknown, the fear of responsibility? I know I am. My wife says I always self sabotage myself. Once something starts to work I freak

10mg Amitriptyline
Since I was refused zopiclone and prescribed 10mg Amitriptyline I have been sleeping like a baby. I am so so so glad that I didn’t take zopiclone as it is very addictive and does affect one’s health. Amitriptyline is, I am told, non addictive and has no side effects. It works for me.
