Amitriptyline
hi 👋🏻 seem to be putting a few posts on here lately. I’ve taken 25mg A for 6 nights, mainly for sleep, however it’s not really helping and my T is screaming at me last few days. Anyone think it is ok to just stop as ive only had it for 6 days? Thanks

Amitriptyline titration
also , in which way does
Amitriptyline
help your IBS? I'm confused by the fact I already had a dose that keeps MS pains at bay (somewhat) but why not have effect on stomach cramps?

Amitriptyline/ Duloxetine
GP given me
Amitriptyline
for night 10mg for night and Duloxetine 30mg to take morning. I complained to GP that I don’t feel well after Duloxetine and I stopped but GP insisted that side effects wear off after some time. But both tablets don’t help.

Amitriptyline - side effects
I have been on
amitriptyline
for a month for nerve pain due to endometriosis. I’ve noticed some side effects and wondered if others have experienced anything like it? Also, did it subside after a while, or stay the whole time taking the medication?

Amitriptyline and rash
I take 10mg of amatripyline for IBS, I have got up this morning with a rash on my neck, not itchy and I feel fine, just wondering if it could be a side effect.

Amitriptyline
Hi I have started taking low dose (10mg)
Amitriptyline
each evening(about a month now) but as i've just had one of the worst bouts ever wondered if it is just making matters worse by creating more constipation, has anyone else out there with IBSm or IBSc has had success with it or has it just made

amitriptyline?
Doctors have me on this to treat my ibs, I’m worried as it’s an antidepressant? I’ve upper right quadrant pains for 20 years same place, same pain all the time, feel tired for days after a flare up. This may help some people, but I manage it by placing a firm object into my back below my ribs and lying

Has anyone tried either Rimagepant or galcanezumab for vestibular migraine?
It take pizotifen and
amitriptyline
for vestibular migraine which seems to reduce the headaches but doesn't help with the constant feeling of being on the deck of a ship or walking on a marshmallow floor. Is anyone else experiencing that?

Swollen feet/ankles
Does anyone know if
amitriptyline
can cause feet and ankles to swell quite badly?I've been on them since last December. Thank you. Many thanks for all your replies. Funnily enough the rheum nurse phoned me today, so whilst she was on the phone checked about my ankles.

SNRIs for fibro treatment
After a couple of months, I decided I didn't like how I felt mentally, so I gave up the
amitriptyline
. Even if I was willing to put up with the effectiveness I'd have to take a lot more than 4 mg. When I looked up
amitriptyline
on the web I found it is an SNRI.

I already am treated for a fib (bisoprolol and warfarin) but I have taken (for years) one 10mg
amitriptyline
at night and two 8/500 co-codamol in the middle of the night. Is it ok to continue like this because they really do the trick? Many thanks
