B210K W5R2 Running scared
At the time I was full of
adrenaline
and incredulous at the whole situation. I did go home and call the taxi firm and reported his reg. and described his behaviour and that was that. Or so I thought. However, last night I came to run again only to find that this experience was lingering.

Abnormal cells
They said they can't give me anything to calm me down and I will just have the normal sedation, which, to be honest, doesn't kick in until after I get home (I think the
adrenaline
I produce kills it). Has anyone else been in this position and if so, how did you cope in the run-up to the scope?

24hr urine test
I have been asked to do a 24 hr urine test, doctor said to test my
adrenaline
? This is as I have been getting sinus tachycardia....is this the same as adrenal testing please? Had my thyroid removed 10 years ago.

Update on earlier post (t3 only regimen)
I am susceptible to squirts of
adrenaline
, which is troublesome. Any challenge gets me in fighting mode before I even know it has happened. The good news is that this now seems to have receded a bit.

Thyroid, Sex Drive and Orgasms - embarrassing and sensitive subject but I need help!
The only connection I can come up with is
adrenaline
/cortisol, or some sort of stress hormone, as I think they are the only things that would be released during those 3 separate circumstances. Basically
adrenaline
or cortisol increase seem to cause me a whole host of problems.

My PBC story...
I realize now that I used to just run on
adrenaline
. Sometimes I wonder how this could happen to me. I am sure I am not alone in that department. From what I have read many of you feel the same. Thanks for reading my story. I welcome words of encouragement.

Really struggling to cope with pain and everything tonight
I feel like
adrenaline
is pumping through my body. I can feel the stress this pain is having on my body. I have had a very difficult time lately with my recent increase in pain an hospital admission. I am just exhausted from all of this and finding it difficult to cope tonight.

Now this is what I call service
On a routine blood test I was found to have too much sodium, during that evening the duty doctor phoned and asked me to go in to the local hospital for another blood test on the next day (Saturday). The result was normal sodium but too high calcium, back to the health centre for another blood test.

Only on week 5 but completed a 5K at the weekend. Advice please!
Hi! So I've been religiously following the C25K programme and last Wednesday did W5R1. I've always done them perfectly, kept up even when I wanted to stop and finished them. Last Saturday I ran Race for Life for Cancer Research. I figured I'd just listen to one or maybe 2 of the podcasts whilst I did

Does high adrenaline compensating for lack of cortisol, cause stress and anxiety?
I'm just not sure what causes my terrible stress and anxiety, high or fluctuating cortisol or
adrenaline
or a combination of both?

Does Seriphos / Phosphorylated Serine help to control / subdue adrenaline as well as cortisol?
I've just started 30mg NDT and hope that eventually my stress levels/anxiety will be addressed when I progressed through this treatment. However, I am battling stress/anxiety, which is quite normal for me, but in addition have a couple of difficult issues to deal with just now, and wondered if Seriphos

Bad night
I'm having a really bad time of it tonight. Electric beetles crawling through my entire body. Legs and arms like a tightening spring that suddenly releases with a mighty jerk. A n n n n n tense twitching in my arms and legs, fingers and toes. My back taking me to screaming point because of the beast

Taking Licorice root or adrenal cortex with NDT
My other question was, would adrenal cortex (not glandular that contains
adrenaline
) be a better option for increasing cortisol? I haven't had any problems (yet!

Biopsy and INR
I had to go to our district hospital to- day for a biopsy on my tongue. They think that the small white line is due to allergy to silver fillings. Warfarin caused an awful fuss. They will not accept finger-prick results. They need a blood sample withiin 24 hours. My NRI has been very stable at about

Perfect Graduation Run :)
Couldn't have planned it better - for run 2 of week 9 on Thursday last I brought my boyfriend with me. He is much fitter than I am, having run for years, but kept to my pace (he maintains that taking smaller steps makes it easier on this back, suits me just fine!!) It made a nice change so he came out
