Addiction to exercise
., we often develop
addiction
and, in the end, get punished for our pleasures. Where I was young, a teenager, I developed the
addiction
to exercise, without being aware of it at this age.

Naltrexone
I’ve recently been prescribed Naltrexone for my alcohol
addiction
, to help with cravings. I’m just wondering if anyone has had any success with it? Thank you!

Does anyone have experience with Xanax addiction?
I feel so powerless over my
addiction
, and I feel hopeless. I've started attending 12 step groups a week ago. I'm afraid and I don't know how to live without taking it. Thank you for reading this and any feedback would be gratefully appreciated, especially if you kicked the habit.

Questions to ask at a blood test?
BTW, no one in his family and friendship circles knows of his
addiction
so it's all on me at the moment, and I'm exhausted by it all. I think his fear is the blood tests will result in him being admitted to hospital, and then the whole can of worms is opened..,.

My life with RLS, and the lengths I will go to for relief!
I will say I have an
addiction
if I have to. He said no we'll help you, but when you go to the clinic they will not give you Suboxone if you're not dependant on heroin, or pills. I told him that I will tell them I am if that's what I need to do. I have been on Suboxone almost a year now.

I really need help (Relationship)
He has an
addiction
and has severe depression. He has always said no matter what he is never happy- even if it is with me. Today he told me that he is unhappy in the relationship and he doesn’t know whether or not it is me or himself that is making him feel this way.

Resting in Peace
She was 37, had her own struggles with anxiety, depression, and
addiction
, all of which she was recovering from and over the last month has been thriving. We think, as she had epilepsy since childhood, she had a fatal seizure.

Anxiety/Alcohol

People of HU - Where are they now? Ryan's journey with metastatic melanoma
Without this, my
addiction
would have killed me. In 2011 I was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma in my inner right ear and that ear was removed completely. I was lucky to end up with the perfect dosage of a monoclonal antibody medication during its first clinical trial.

My Thoughts on Xanax/Alprazolam
I am fully aware that it is a medication that you don't want to be on for a long period of time due to the
addiction
factor that goes along with it. I have tried other anxiety medications before and they have not worked and I have had bad side effects (intestinal issues).

New to all of this...
People have always told me that they admired me and how strong i am because I stood by my husband during his multiple illnesses and opiod
addiction
. Truthfully, and I've never said this outloud, I was afraid to leave because I didnt know how! That also did not help my daughter.

What do you do if you relapse on bad habits?
I just relapsed now on my sugar
addiction
. I don't know what to do, I just keep feeling and wanting to put this horrible food in my mouth with no respect for my body? What do you do if this happens? I just want to get back on track.

Got fired life is pointless
This is not acceptable when you’re working in the medical field, especially the
addiction
field. As an
addiction
counselor I’m expected to keep my emotions in check and to behave appropriately to coworkers.

Could a Class A drug (Ecstasy) help with Alcohol Addiction?
There was an interesting article in the Independent Online this morning about a recent trial study that has shown that the taking of methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy) could offer support for many people who are struggling with alcohol
