Teva levothyroxine solution, any positive results for anyone?
Hi Has anyone tried Teva levothyroxine solution, and had positive results compared to taking any levothyroxine tablets? To cut a very long story short, the 75 mcg Wockhardt tablets I take are causing terrible pressure all over body and excruiciating burning through top of my head. So bad I collapse.

transferring from Armour to synthetic T4/T3 combo - conversion rates?
I’ve been given a trial of levo and T3 by an endocrinologist. I am currently on 2 grains of armour although I stupidly told the Endo I was on 1.5 grains by mistake. She is starting me on 100mcg of thyroxine plus two doses of 10mcg of T3 (morning and afternoon). I’m now worried this won’t be enough and

First ever Medichecks Advanced Thyroid Test
Hello lovely folks, I've had my first ever Medichecks Advanced Thyroid Test and would really appreciate your views on next steps. The TSH result would indicate I need to increase levo, also I'm concerned at high CRP and antibodies! Plus I don't think I convert T4 to T3 very well. Your thoughts are very

Advice on referred blood tests
As per my recent post, a GP (not my usual) is on the band wagon to reduce my levothyroxine due to a suppressed TSH. This became suppressed a few years ago when I tried T3, although I've always been towards the top of range (until now it seems) and it made no difference, so I stopped it. My usual GP

lowered dose of carbimazole on block and replace advice please.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever had their dosage of carbimazole lowered on block and replace please. I have Graves’ disease and been on block and replace for 16 months, started on 40mg of carbimazole and 100mg levothyroxine. I’m now taking 20mg carbimazole and 100mg levothyroxine as instructed

unstable tsh levels
Last year, my TSH levels went berserk . I was successively under treated then I had an overload of replacement medication-Levothyroxine. From October to June, my blood tests were abnormal despite 4 changes of Levothyroxine doses . Once this was sorted, I had a severe reaction after a swim in cool water

Nausea - Levo/Thyroid symptom?
I am at a complete and utter loss. Why as I optimise dose do I feel nauseated for days now? As of a few weeks ago I’ve been alternating doses of 75mcg own day, followed by 100mcg of Levothyroxine only for hypothyroidism (Hashimoto). Same brand throughout treatment thus far. Perhaps it’s nothing to

Help with blood results
Hi just curious to hear what peeps think about my recent bloods. I've been on 100mg levothyroxine since April 2021 after docs told me I poss had Hashimotos. I had the TPO antibody at a low level I think circa 150. So my October bloods came back last wk as follows: TSH: 1.64 range: 0.27 - 4.2 T4: 15.8

Another battle
Just back from GP, having won another battle to get my Levo increased. It is so tiring feeling that I am really pushing to be given drugs. Conversation went like this: Me: my symptoms have worsened so I did a private blood test, the results show that my FT43 and FT4 have lowered and my TSH has increased

How to convince your GP a suppressed TSH is ok?
For years I’ve had a suppressed TSH following a trial of T3 probably 5 years ago which didn’t work and I haven’t taken it for around 4 years (need to check my records for exact dates). My GP has always been fine with it, and even the rubbish NHS endo agreed it would take time to recover - or as I know
