Cetrotide - getting it all out
Hello. I'm doing my first egg freezing cycle. I've been okay with the other injections but today was the first time with cetrotide and I found it really tricky. A lot of air bubbles and I couldn't get all of the solution out. Does anyone have any tips to get it all out? I was wondering whether I should

Transfer complete - officially PUPO
So my period arrived on 1st February and started progynova the next day. Had a scan on day 8 of my cycle and my lining was already at 8mm so transfer booked in today and started the dreaded pessaries last Thursday. Have been feeling a bit rough with medication (as I always do 😔) but has been manageable

Ran Week 7 Run 1
Well, it’s been an adventure so far! I officially ran the 25 minute run yesterday afternoon and felt great. I started running in November but pushed too hard and got an IT Band Syndrome injury ... so had to take it easy, but the couch to 5k app was a great way to start again and now in can run again

Ileostomy questions
I was wondering if anyone could answer any questions that I have. Nothing too serious just some random questions. I have been told by the surgeons that I might be having ostomy surgery. That is all I was told, I have done a lot of research but I am currently waiting on a call from my Gastroenterologist

clumsy
I have noticed of late that I am dropping things and becoming clumsy. Is this an RA thing I wonder. It isn't serious, just annoying. I am 84 and was diagnosed 4 years ago. I take MXT 20mgm orally once a week. The pads on my finger ends have a strange feeling that you get when you are getting over a

8 year old with bowel incontinence
Hi My 8 year old son is still soiling himself daily and has done all his life since being constipated for a considerable period as a baby. We’ve done everything we have been advised to do by consultants and doctors, and we are just pursuing a diagnosis of ADD (which I’m convinced is linked to his bowel

Solifenacin - any better than alternative bladder meds?
Oxybutynin improved his symptoms slightly (fewer big
accidents
, but still general dribbling of wee and max vols of 150ml) but had terrible side effects. Tolterodine was side effect free but only improved his volumes to about 200ml. The latest med we're trying is Solifenacin.

Should I stop potty training for now?
He’s had loads of
accidents
and often refused to use the potty, only a few successes. He was still good using the potty at home with us in the evenings. Then Saturday today at home with me and lots of
accidents
no successes. Should I give up and put him back in nappies?

Is daytime wetting normal for 6year old with adhd?
While he is not having full blown
accidents
, he is avoiding going to the bathroom until the very last second despite countless prompts, incentives, etc. And he also pees a little to release so his underwear is damp many days.

Colonoscopy
Just back from docs, have had a lot of mucus, so after internal anus check and found blood have been referred for two week colonoscopy. No diarrhoea, stools always solid, wondered what is causing all the mucus. Doc also requested Faecal Calprotectin and Faecal Immunochemical Tests. I had a clear NHS

Just starting Couch to 5k and its snowed!
Advice please. I started couch to 5k on Sunday. After suffering with Fibromyalgia for over 10 years, always having an injury of some sort, ankles and knees and now getting over COVID, I'm taking charge of my health. I have lost 2 stone since the first lockdown and feel ready to start becoming more active

Run 08/02 - chilly!
Hiya, I am making this post in 2 separate times, a part pre-run and a part post-run. Yesterday, Sunday, it snowed here (Belgium) with freezing temperatures, causing the roads to be slippery and all that stuff. Helped outside to clear the walkway (we are obligated to do so, should someone fall before

What is your preferred remedy for constipation? 🤔 🤔 🤔
I have suffered with the dreaded constipation almost all my life. I am currently prescribed Docusate Sodium capsules. Unfortunately they are not working any longer. I am suffering and don't know what to try next. I am on iron tablets, which I've been told do tend to make one a lil constipated anyway.
