Bloody discharge - is it copper coil?
Unusual bloody discharge/spotting I have had bloody discharge for 4 days now. My period finished last week so its not that. I can't see gp until Friday and I'm getting very worried. I have a copper coil that was inserted over a year ago, could this be the problem? Most info says a few months after

Can someone explain how a stimulant will work on top of movicol?
My daughter is 3.5 and been withholding since she was a baby. We got her to a point where she was pooing every day without soiling but we are back to soiling again but still doing normal poos every day. I don't think shes blocked up as I can see sweetcorn/kidney beans in her poo the day after eating

PBC
Hi I have recently been diagnosed with PBC and have been taking ursodeoxycholic acid for about 3 weeks. I have a really uncomfortable and bloated tummy. Will this side effect ease as I get used to the medication? Any advice and tips would be much appreciated. Thank you so much in advance x

Exenatide : any non diabetic users? Update from those using for diabetes with PD?
I was just prescribed Exenatide by my neurologist. He has faith in the Exenatide trial and has prescribed it to other patients as well. I’m slim with low blood sugar. Can those who are not diabetic but taking Exenatide please share their experience and knowledge? And any info from those taking it

So impressed and relieved we have finally got somewhere with a poo !!
After 2 years on movicol and it having no effect, apart from stains in knickers every day. Not 1 single solid poo in 2 years, we were at our wits end to help her. We did a bit of research and have found that 1 sachet of nutrigen inulin and a 5ml of lactulose for the last month, have now produced frequent

MMC at Viability Scan :( Advice about miscarriage process
What was supposed to be a joyful day turned to shock & despair at our viability scan. Still can’t believe it. I had quite strong pregnancy symptoms and Clear Blue had progressed to 3+ weeks this weekend. I’m 6+5 today but there was no heartbeat and embryo only measuring 5+3. I’ve been told to stop

Hi ladies. Did anyone get prescribed a Cabergoline after the Egg collection? Had my egg collection today, doctor said I may be at risk of overstimulating, so was prescribed these pills. 1 pill per day. 3 year old soiling and wetting
Hi, my almost 3 year old started withholding poos after some pain passing them and large stools. We have been giving her moivcol to help soften them up but we have found now she is having poo and pee accidents all the time simultaneously ( the poos are smears or very small amounts of poo). It’s so difficult

Car accident
I was in a car crash yesterday and now I’m beginning to feel my legs are aching more today. Has anyone else been in a trauma and had their fibromyalgia symptoms worsen?

I've had acknowledgement of my tiredness being fatigue from my TBI, but the doubters are really upsetting me...
Hey there everyone, a quick recap. I had my TBI 13 years ago and I've been trying to put my life back together and find the direction I used to have. I started seeing (or zooming) with a counsellor who specialises in brain injury around a year ago and she's really helped me see that the problems I have

Week 6 run 1 done!
Gave it a go - I’ve been avoiding the spoiler spreadsheet that tells you what’s next so as to not ruin the surprise each time. So when Denise says “go for it “ I just do without worrying what’s around the next bend. So off I trot on the run. The bell goes at half time and I’m surprised cause I add up

What is the Best Supplement to Alleviate Trembling?
I feel like my back is against the wall when it comes to trembling. My neurologist is skeptical about supplements, so it's like I'm being forced to take powerful medications which can have serious short- and long-term side effects, drug interactions, withdrawal effects, etc.. I'd really like

High respiratory efforts in COVID-19 patients could result in self-inflicted lung injury
The impact of high breathing efforts on the lungs of patients suffering with acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19 has been investigated by researchers at the University of Warwick, who assessed the likelihood of resulting lung injury. Although mechanical ventilation is a life-saving intervention

IBS-D
Does anyone else with IBS-D go very often? For me I pass stools at most 4 times a day, they can range between loose and easy to pass to diarrhoea. Does anyone take anything to help the IBS-D? I’m only 21 and it’s taking over my life. Spoken to my doctor this morning and they have no clue what’s going

Tonsil Stones
Hi everyone. I've started coughing up tonsil stones again today. I used to get them years ago and they eventually went somehow. Either that or I've still had them and just not noticed. However I always feel like I've got bad breath only a few hours after brushing my teeth. I'm now thinking this is probably

We are getting near the incontinence stage
My lovely wife is terrified of, but getting indications of, incontinence. So far one or two 'accidents' but an increased demand on me to get her to the toilet. The worst part is in the night, she has for some weeks now been unable to get to the commode unaided after several disastrous falls. She now

I graduated on Sunday!
Finally! For me, this is actually the second time I graduated. I started during the first lockdown last year. I then got Covid, so had to stop, then restart. Spring 2020 also coincided with my moving to a different area, so with all the prepping for moving, I did not complete it until after the move.
