The story so far...
I started the C25K journey on the 11 March. In that time I've done 68 runs and covered just shy of 300km (I'm not including rugby matches and the distance figure includes the time spent walking during the early interval phase of the plan). Not only am I able to run further and faster than I was before

Hello my DD suffers from bed wetting and soemtimes soils a little in the night as well due to suffering from Constipation. I'm not worried about her doing this at night as I would rather it was coming out than not at all. She is 13 so it is very hard to force her to take medicine she refuses to take.

Nearly six weeks following surgery for fractured skull
Hi. I'm new here. Wonder if anyone can help please. Following a freak accident my husband had a fractured skull treated with immediate surgery six weeks ago. Staples taken out 10 days ago. District Nurses coming every other day to dress the wound but the end bit shows no signs of clearing up, in

Back at it
After 10 days of hell resting a groin injury, finally today I got back at it, was up nice and early, gear on and a plan to take it easy, promised myself some walk breaks if things got too much. Also decided for the first time to say goodbye to Jo and run on my own. I was nervous to be honest didn’t know

Bleeding for 2 weeks and lining is too thick 😩
So had my down reg scan today and they have said my lining isn’t thin enough!! I’ve been bleeding pretty heavy for 2 weeks, how is it not thin enough? They have said to stay on the buserelin and have another scan next week before I can move on to the next step. This didn’t happen last time. Anyone

Flare Up of D at Party
Hello, I should be used to it, but a flare up of sudden D coupled with cramps and nausea at a party last week has really knocked my confidence. One not very private loo and people rattling the door as I was in there a long time. I left after that. I was fine all day and had taken a precautionary Imodium

I've been discharged!
Hello everyone! After 2 and a half years of constant hospital visits. I was discharged rom the respiratory clinic this week. My consultant said there is no sign of the pneumonitis but obviously I still have the fibrosis. I sincerely hope that my experience will give some hope to others that NSIP isn't

Oh my gosh I'm back again!
So it's been over 3 months since I've been allowed to run after my foot operation. It's been hard sitting and waiting for my feet to heal but I got the go ahead a couple of weeks ago to start running again. I had a fear that i might have to start C25K again as i had been out of running for so long. I

Omeprazole and Imodium... Thoughts?
I’ve recently been prescribed 40mg Omeprazole (20mg to be taken twice a day) after experiencing difficulty swallowing. I felt great for 4 days then started to experience difficulties again (for the subsequent 4 days) although not with every meal. At times I’m having to cough my food forward due to fear

I hope this wasnt all in vain
Please follow Russ' story as it is truly a miracle! However, I'll be brief. He survivored and conquered when the doctors said he couldnt. He had an anoxic brain injury and was still improving 1 year later, he beat odds, he had quality, it was hard and emotional but we were really making it work but apparently

Living with a head injury
I have been living with a head injury for about 5 and 1/2 years now. I have never known so much pain, fatigue and stress. I acquired my injury in an RTA. I didn't see the driver as I crossed the road on my way to school. I was taken to the late Frenchay hospital. Where they discovered I had an extradural

IBS symptoms - what works for you?
Just wondering what to try as I rapidly swing between constipation and diarrhoea. I'm scared to try anything like a laxative or a fibre supplement in case I take it at the wrong time for my tummy. It's so unpredictable! Any advice on probiotics?

About antidepressants
Hi in regards to your post about do antidepressants work I have been taking them for going on 15 years + and out of this time I have been weaned off them and back on them I am sort of wondering that the NHS isn’t doing their jobs right as if it was just depression I would have been sorted by now and
