Post ablation tubal sterilisation syndrome (PATTS)
The doctors should have known about the possibility of this outcome (PATSS) and warned me prior to
surgery
. The pain is very severe, becoming more frequent and has a sudden onset.

aortic valve stenosis
Fast forward and I meet the surgeon who is very happy to go ahead with this less invasive
surgery
. A letter then arrives which refers me back to open heart
surgery
without any explanation. Apparently the opening to the aortic valve is too narrow.

High TSH AND high T4 after thyroid removal
I had
surgery
to remove the tumor and my thyroid about 3 months ago (end of February). On January 22 (before the
surgery
), my TSH was 3.59 mlU/L (range of 0.40 and 4.50), and my endocrinologist instructed me to increase my Levothyroxine to 75mg.

Psa is back
Well I made it to 27 months of upsa testing after my
surgery
and went from <0.01 to my first detectable of 0.01. Don’t know what this means but I guess the next few upsa tests will be telling. Maybe a lab variation maybe not.

Treatment for severe OCD
I don't exactly know what it is said about DBS in FDA's guidelines, but they consider this
surgery
as an exception if no other method helps.

Testosterone is increasing? Should I be worried?
Hello everyone, Since my father’s
surgery
in 2022, his PSA levels have been undetectable. He receives a Zoladex injection every three months. Until this month, the reference range for total testosterone was 1.93 - 7.40 ug/L, and his result was 0.126 ug/L.

Epithelial Haemangiendothelioma - has anyone else been diagnosed with this rare cancer please?
I had thoracic
surgery
early December 2023 to take biopsies of a couple of lung nodules. I received a diagnosis of the above mentioned rare cancer (known as EHE for short) in January.

New treatment
Surgery
went well. Biopsy showed that the growing tumor was triple negative. Seemingly the other 2 (breast and hip met) are still HER2 negative. Anyone being treated for both? Also considering a clinical trial for the triple that they found, although there is no known tumor. Thoughts?

Unsure how to proceed after flare continues
I am reluctant to up my dose again before I have the oral
surgery
in case I further suppress my immune system as my body is trying to heal from the extraction. They are starting me on an antibiotic the day before the
surgery
, which they want me to continue for a week.

for clarification? I also had a blood test and those results have come back with no abnormalities although they didn't take cholesterol readings this time. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Any success with only one Lap surgery for DIE?
I just wanted to know if there's anyone out there that just needed one
surgery
for DIE then lived happily ever after? I know its probably a silly question. Just looking for some positivity as I'm stressing about it growing back quickly.

Not sure of next steps after recent endometriosis diagnosis
At the gynae appointment they said they wouldn't recommend
surgery
to remove the cyst as there is a risk they would have to remove my remaining ovary. The other options were the pill and an injection to temporarily start the menopause.
