Vivid Dreams
Last night I had a nighmare and I awoke to find my husband grabbing my arm because I nearly hit him. I was, apparently, thrashing both arms in the air. Does anyone ele have this? I am on sinemet, 13 tabs daily in divided doses and was diagnosed in DEC 2015. Sheila

My tremor exacerbated by taking a B-complex
Recently I found that I needed more and more Sinemet and still could not effectively manage tremor. After noting anything and everything that had occurred or I had changed about my routine that may have caused the exacerbation, I started reversing course. Finally discovered it was a B vitamin complex

Newly diagnosed with young onset PD
Hi! I'm 23 and recently have been diagnosed with Parkinson's. I'm working on finishing up my bachelors in college. I still live at home with my parents and sister, which can be helpful, but difficult as well because they know somethings wrong, but do not know that recently I was diagnosed. I tried telling

Takes
Sinemet
CR
, and uses a Neupro patch for stiffness -especially in his neck. Advice, anyone? He doesn't want to read anything or hear anything about what could be coming. Says he will find out when "it" gets here. Should I ask the dr for an MRI? Will that give a definite diagnosis?

Medication not working
Has anyone ever tried to ween themselves off of sinemet. My mom is 80 years old and has had Parkinson's for six years. She has a very mild form of Parkinson's and I think the Parkinson's medicine is making her worse and other areas. I'd like to see her try something natural instead. She fights

Newly diagnosed
Just been diagnosed with PD does anyone have anything positive? It's quite scary! I take Sinemet and it helps somewhat but I am still really stiff down my left side.

Half Sinemet CR

at night for these symptoms?

Depression is gone.
One thing that has happened to me since I started Sinemet is that my depression has left. Most all the time I'm actually happy. I'm very grateful for this. It's such a wonderful feeling after being so depressed for so very long. My GP says it's because no matter how much serotonin you have it can not

Have just finished a weeks 'boot camp' and although tired from all the physical therapy, have pushed myself to limits I never thought would be possible again. Being on max dose of Mirapexin and Azelect the Nurologist recommended I start Sinemet. Thanks to my wife's research we found the centre and decided

MEDICATION NOT WORKING EFFICIENTLY
Over the last couple of weeks my meds have been taking forever to kick in and then have gone off early. I take Stalevo, Requip and half Sinemet for Parkinsons and other meds for different problems. I am beginning to wonder if these meds are working against each other. Is this possible? Last weekend

Sinemet
Is it pronounced 'sign-met' or 'sin-met' and which syllable is the emphasis on the sine or the met? Can't find the phonetics when I google it.

Rasagline (azilect) and setreline (Zoloft)
I've been on Zoloft for a very long time for depression. Currently taking 100mg. I started taking Azilect three weeks ago at .5mg for the first 10 days and 1 mg since. When my Neuro prescribed Azilect and said it was a Mao-b inhibitor I reminded him I'm on Zoloft and he said not to worry that there
