PSA on the rise
(I had taxetere in 2021) I get my
PSA
checked every three months right before lupron injection, so I did the routine blood work. I was suspisious that my
PSA
was probably on the rise as I have had some back pain in the last 4 weeks or so.

PSA Roller Coaster ride!
I ask them if they would do a
PSA
draw. they did. It came back @ <0.01. What do we do, one lab said 2.22 the other undetectable. The Dr said we should still move forward with a PSMA-Pet Scan. So I have it scheduled. Then check the
PSA
in a month.

First PSA test post radiation and Orgovyx
My husband had his first
PSA
test today… about a month after 28 proton radiation treatments, and over two months on Orgovyx… Result: <0.10 This seems really good to us! ( last
PSA
was 46.6 before treatment) Does it sound like a good result to all of you at this stage?

Positive medical check update April 2024
Blood values are all very ok,
PSA
undetectable, Testo less 0.1 ng/ML and PSMA Pet/CT and ultra sound clean, no recurrence, no metastases. I’m more than thankful and will continue with exercises, mediation and diet.

SRBT and EXTEND trial
They only evaluated "progression-free survival" which, at 22 months, was almost entirely lack of
PSA
progression. They claimed that the lack of
PSA
progression made it safe to give patients a break from ADT".

6 months after radiation
I went for blood work and my
PSA
has dropped significantly and I do not have an infection. I’m wondering what the issue could be…seems like it would have cleared by now?

10-year update still shows no benefit to ART vs early SRT
ART
= adjuvant radiation therapy, within 6 months after radical prostatectomy (RP)
early SRT
= salvage radiation therapy, after
PSA
≥ 0.1ng/ml or 3 consecutive rises. Median was 0.2 ng/ml. Median 1 ½ years after RP.

EORTC GUCG 2238 De-escalate: A pragmatic trial to revisit intermittent androgen-deprivation therapy: will we know something more soon?
"The primary goal of this academic-led, open-label, multicenter, pragmatic, randomized phase III study is to investigate whether intermittent maximum androgen blockade (iMAB) can be safely administered to mHNPC patients who reached a
PSA
≤ 0.2 ng/mL at 6-12 months of continuous treatment (cMAB), as compared

PSA now undetectable with 2 of 35 radiation treatments left.
PSA
now undetectable with 2 of 35 radiation treatments left to complete. I will start Abiraterone next week, in addition to the Lupron I’m currently on. I’m celebrating today’s victory and wanted to share here. Of course, many days have been consumed with worry over the unknown.

225Ac-PSMA-I&T works well even after Pluvicto in small trial
It's small number of heavily-treated mCRPC patients, but 42% of those who already had Pluvicto had a
PSA
reduction of ≥50% from 225Ac-PSMA-I&T. Surprisingly, no Grade 3 Xerostomia. Phase III trials will likely follow.

Any experience with Intraductal Cancer?
PSA
had risen to 5.7, but then dropped to 5.4 and 5.0. I elected to remain on active surveillance since
PSA
was stable, DRE's showed enlargement but no extension, and the small number of cores positive. CAT and Bone tests showed no evidence of disease.

Personal update
Ok, first blood work, 3 weeks after the last chemo of ARASENS protocol
PSA
is 0.39, it was 70 at diagnosis and 15 after 4-5 weeks (when I have started ARASENS) Testosterone 0.33 nmol/L well, that's it!

UPDATE on my dad. A story of hope.❤️ #advancedPC
He said your dads
PSA
is at 0.031 and is still dropping. The
PSA
has been consistently low for almost 2 years. He said your dad had a really bad cancer and to keep doing whatever we were doing at home.

after EBRT …monitoring?
I’d imagine routine blood panels, monitoring
PSA
, but should I expect another PSMA PET scan at some point? A MRI? Thanks in advance .
