Hello ladies and gents . I will be seeing heart Dr. soon for irregular heart beat . Ive been on Eligard , Zytiga , prednisone for 14 months . Rituximab Reaction
Hey guys, on Thursday I went for my first (1of2) Rituximab infusions...although I've had two rounds before. I have it for my IgG4 disease which has affected my pancreas. Anyway, it didn't go quite to plan. 😪 I had the pre-meds and was then started on the Ritux at a slow rate. All was fine. Then

GCA morphing into PMR?
Hello dear friends: I’ve been on the GCA journey almost 3 years now and I am down to 1 mg prednisone. I’ve been under terrible stress especially the past week but continuing for a couple months. And suddenly now and I am almost off of prednisone for GCA, I have fear that PMR is kicking in. Bad neck

Stop Actemra for good?
I am down to 4.5 mg of Prednisone. Started at 15 a couple of years ago. Have had about a year of monthly Actemra infusions (monthly infusions not weekly shots). I don’t feel different after them. Why shouldn’t I stop taking them? I still have some heaviness in arms/legs and some minor pains on occasion

Learning about GCA
I have been on steroids since February for PRM, properly unwell for quite a while before that. Over the weekend I had a period of very disturbed vision with headache and jaw pain. Now increased from 10mg to 60mg prednisone. Eye check isn’t showing any long term damage and I have a plan going forward

Asthma post COVID

I have been taking allergy shots all my life which helped make the asthma negligent. I got back to back colds in December-January, the

A huge Thank You and rash update
I want to thank everybody who supported and reassured me on my post two days ago. Thank you all for sharing your own experiences with me and to Barbara and Kat for sharing photos of their rashes which did suggest it was indeed a Lupus rash I had, as I’d suspected, when it looked so similar and was running
