Caregivers - what do you do to nurture yourselves?
Plant some seeds, get a
massage
, eat a very healthy diet, go to a concert, take a nature walk, organize your space. What do you all do to take care of you?

Advised soft food, soft
massage
, anti inflammatory, and showed me gentle exercise. Anyway I had a telephone appointment with my doc about something else and discussed with him , discussing possible GCA.

Walking #5: Have you brought out your Sandals yet?
Not a big walk, or a Nordic Walk, but the chance to cream my feet and give them a foot
massage
, paint my nails, take out my sandals, and use two walks to and at work to give my sandals the first outing for the year.

Post C25K Consolidation, and now Ju-Ju’s Magic Plan W3R3 Done
The reason I was, and am still, so resolute about it was that I had previously torn both Achilles’ which had taken a year to rehabilitate including RICE, daily self-
massage
up and down each side of the tendons, and physio exercises including eccentric heel raises/drops and low-impact swimming, cross-training

Update on my hospital appointment
I'm absolutely petrified of the whole thing especially if I have to have ocular
massage
or needling!! I know a lot of people on here have already been through this and come out the other side so I'm hoping with your help I will be able to do the same. Thank you for being there for me.

Does it sound like cmt or a neurodegenerative desease? My health anxiety is driving me crazy. Please help.
When it happened under my feet, that area hurts a lot and i have to
massage
it in order for it to get better.I went to a neurologist yesterday who checked me. All the physical tests (coordination, strength, perception,…) she did were negative.

Lack of Prostate Sensation, cause for concern?
All I know that I feel a lump around 4 inches in on the upper side (towards the ceiling) I
massage
said lump, yet I feel no sensations. I then used a vibrator built specifically for the prostate, yet again, no sensations. Not sure if this is a cause for concern or not hence why I'm asking :(

Reality Check
I have a
massage
scheduled here in my home today — whoop! We all have this mountain we are climbing, and some days feel like we are barely hanging on … I choose to focus on the good.

How Can I fully evacuate my Bowels?
I
massage
my stomach every night and every morning. I drink a glass of hot water first thing in the morning. This I find gives me a bowel movement quickly. I just want to go normally to the toilet like we all do!! My problem I know is minor compared to so many here.

Tight chest, confusing Asthma like symptoms
Seemingly also, if I
massage
the chest muscle where it's irritated feeling, I can seemingly get some release of the tightness. I'm just really not convinced it's even my asthma. Maaaybe I had covid and all the tests were false negative? So confused and fed-up.

Any Suggestions For Remedies For Energy
I have tried all types of
massage
therapies/Reiki/Reflexology/Mindfulness/Acupuncture etc. and have also spent a serious small fortune on non-pharmaceutical remedies. I have to say that to date -I have yet to find something that I can say has made a credible difference.

Painful Feet
I also use insoles; soak my feet &
massage
them regularly. The nurse is going to speak to the doctor and call me back - can anyone suggest anything I should be asking about? I also have fibro - maybe that is having an effect? Sorry it’s such a long post but any ideas would be much appreciated 😃😃

Is this a flare?
It’s not helped by the fact that I took advantage of a free back
massage
whilst on holiday. Despite telling the masseur that I had a right shoulder injury and to be very gentle she pressed very hard on my shoulder and I think I may have a tear in my supraspinatus muscle.

Simple ways to control Migraines
My physician asked me to control my food, do a daily scalp
massage
, and use a dim light in my room. I didn't get a complete recovery, but I felt better after tying these.

Plantar Fasciitis
I have tried rest, icing, plantar, calf and achilles stretches, taping, heat, acupuncture, NHS physio (now discharged),
massage
, TENS, and a device called a Plantarcure (useless, got a refund). Of those the only ones that seem to make a minor noticeable improvement are icing and stretching.

Running & restless legs
So for me I would prefer to run every day, have a
massage
once or twice a week & sleep well instead of taking opioids which make me sick. I’m worried that I will damage my joints & that this intervention will stop working just like everything else. What are other people’s experiences?
