Thyroid health and Vitiligo
Hi everyone,I am in North America for work and I came across a few supplement brands that say help Vitiligo disappear. I had it for years and although it is just cosmetic it is quite bad specially in the summer months. I followed all the advice from @slowdragon in terms of supplementation etc - (Big

Anaemia after 7years from op
Hi, Has anyone been anaemic after surgery? After 7 years I have now got anaemia. Dr sent me back to consultant and I have had PET scan, endoscopy and colonoscopy. Within 2 weeks which is brilliant service. Having a further CT as colonoscopy wasn’t successful due to my weird anatomy. Consultant said

Where do I go from here?
I’m not sure if I’m in the right place as I haven’t even been diagnosed with anything but my mind is going into over drive and wanted some advice. I’ve been experiencing abdominal pain on/off since early November. It’s only on my right side and goes into my pelvic area, hip and back even up to my ribs

Man down but not out !!!!
Hi all , Everything has been going so well , perhaps too well , I'm used to things going pear shaped quite regularly , just saying 😜 I completed week 6 on Tuesday, and was ready for an all out attack on week 7 come Thursday, but Wednesday morning I woke with what I can only describe as stomach pain

Felodipine
Hi, I've recently had my BP med switched from Lercanidipine to Felodipine. I'm finding Felodipine is giving me bad headaches, has anyone else found this an issue and if so did anything help? I'm unable to take Ibuprofen as I'm asthmatic, the only thing which helped was Syndol and that's not available

Treating symptoms causes more issues.
So if I use a medication to fix a symptom, I can end up worse off. Recently I took mebeverine to slow motility as I pass a lot of bowel movements a day. It was to help with morning cramps. I just felt sore, constipated and couldn’t eat as normal after. So the mebeverine fixes one problem and causes

Low Beta HCG post FET and left groin pain.
I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to me but had a positive outcome? I had a Beta HCG of 38 10DPET, then my repeat 2 days later was 80. The nurse told me we are not out of the woods yet and even though it’s doubled it’s highly likely to be an ectopic or biochemical pregnancy. I have

Re - chemo cocktail, Caelyx and Yondelis.
Good morning , After 5 lines of chemo my doctor has come up with this new regime - 6 x 3 weekly sessions if it proves to be working and if I can cope. I finished the 5th line just over 3 months ago. I’ve had Caelyx before but I’ve never heard of Yondelis. Has any one on this forum had any experience

Bowel blockage - any hope?
Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some advice for my partner as she is going through a bowel blockage right now and is in hospital. Her stomach is still very bloated. From what I have read, bowel blockages seem quite dire for ladies with ovarian cancer and our doctor said that most surgeons will not

IBS and Methane Gas
I have had stomach problems for the last 20 years but they seem to have gotten much worse. I'm 75 and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about how bad my stomach feels...bloating, pain, full after eating a little bit and pain. It seems like it's constant. I also have a colon full of

My IBS Team Sheet – 2. Haemorrhoids (How I manage)
I think that having experienced having Haemorrhoids about six years ago that led me to be diagnosed with IBS, the relationship between IBS and Haemorrhoids could be a bit of a Red Herring! To be fair, I have experienced having haemorrhoids once since my first diagnosis, but now that I exercise regular

sessile polyp
Hi After a Colonoscopy, I was told I had a Sessile Serrated Polyp in right colon. It was removed at the time. The consultant had said these things are hard to see and don’t always bleed, so aren’t always picked up on screenings. He said they are precancerous and an annual Colonoscopy is good to keep

Annatto (E160b) - Problems with beige food?
I have suffered with almost continuous IBS symptoms for 10 years now. Intense stomach pain a few hours after eating (usually night times), followed by the feeling of glass passing through my bowels, wind, bloating, cramps and urgent, rather explosive trips to the toilet. I usually self-starve for a couple
