My journey so far.
I have Heart failure LV cardiomyopathy. I take 12.5 mg carvedilol and came of lisinopril because of diahoria. Now on ramipril have reduced to 2.5mg once a day instead of twice a day because of low Bp. Hopefully I will feel better soon. Back to see cardiologist next week after 3 maths on meds. I know

Blood Pressure
Thank you everyone who replied to my post yesterday regarding my blood pressure. At the risk of being obsessed by yet another bodily malfunction, I took the advice I was given and bought an Omron blood pressure monitor this morning. This morning I upped my Ramipril dose as instructed by my doctor on

Still on meds despite a healthy heart?
I have had loads of tests following breathlessness and upside down T waves in Feb/March and was on lots of medication including at one point very high levels of anti Inflammatorys. all my tests have come back clear including a cardiac MRI and my t waves are all back to normal so Consultant decided

High Blood Pressure
Sadly I had a very short episode of AF on Monday morning. I managed to return to NSR fairly quickly with Flecainide and a small Bisoprolol. Unfortunately however, I then developed terrible Nausea coupled with a far greater awareness of my Ectopics which are always with me. As the week progressed I

Angina
I'm new here though I have been reading a lot of the posts. Was diagnosed with angina nearly a year ago. I've had HBP for many years, probably genetic and was already taking Doxazosin, Felodipine, Losartan, Atorvastatin and an aspirin. The Cardiologist added Bisoprolol and 10mg Isosorbide twice a day

Blood pressure medication.
I know that a lot of people will probably have high blood pressure due to copd or the meds. We have to take. I was given amlodipine. It worked to bring pressure down. But after a few months. I ended up with sore stomach, nausea and no appetite. It is getting worse to the point I couldn't cope yesterday

Reducing Ramipril
Hi everyone.I was diagnosed with left ventricular dysfunction and an Ejection fraction of 37 back in May and told to take Ramipril. I also have LBBB. My ejection fraction has improved to over 50% now and I have been told I may have had Myocarditis virus. My question is have others reduced their Ramipril

Hello, I’m new here although I did reply to a query last week. Has anyone had a Type A dissection of Valsalva Sinus repaired? Apparently it is quite rare and I was lucky to have survived for three months after the tear occurred. I had an attack of chest pain in March and spent some hours in A&E where

Is atrial tachycardia just another name for a type of AF
Hi all I was diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis just over a year ago. I then had an aortic valve replacement a couple of months later and due to my age it was decided to give me a mechanical valve replacement even though it will mean being on life long warfarin. Post operatively I developed a permanent

Heartburn after stent
Hi, I had a cardiac episode and had 2 scents fitted a week ago. I am taking aspirin, ramipril and I find that I get terrible heartburn especially at night. I’ve been back to the hospital and they gave me omeprazole but I still get the heartburn and it’s quite severe. I have to fight the panic that it

Bypass surgery burning, nausea from Amiodarone
My mother had double bypass for AFIB in May 2018. Her surgery was successful but not with some complications. She had two ablations done prior to the bypass. Both being on 4/7/2017 and 11/13/2017. The first ablation procedure was stopped due to a wire nicking an artery. The second was a success. The

Can stress cause a heart attack? I had a heart attack over twelve months ago. Symptoms were: I had taken a bite out of an apple and I thought I had got it stuck as the pain was in the middle of my chest! anyhow rushed into hospital and given drugs etc and a week later while still in I had an angiogram
