Daytime Resting Heart Rate Regularly Dipping to 42
I am 66 and a recent routine NHS nurse check showed my blood pressure was high, averaging 155/95. I was told to monitor it and get in contact with my doctor and I have been started on 5mg Amlodipine and awaiting blood tests and a heart trace. Two BP readings taken at my local pharmacy showed the high

symptoms before a heart attack
hi everyone, I’m a 50 year old female with mild coronary artery disease and likely familial hypercholesterolaemia. I have a strong family history of early death from heart disease and my dad died at 57 having had several HA’s in his 30’s/40’s followed by a triple bypass at 44. Although he died very suddenly

Confused by what’s happened (54)
Hello community. This is my first post. I’m 54 and last Tuesday was admitted to A&E with a mild heart attack. (Does mild make it any less of a thing?..) 3 blood tests showed troponin of 16, then 23 & 23, and I understand that means something did happen, even though all 4 ECGs looked ok. I was

Ramipril and itching?
Hey Everyone I had a doctor's appointment today and they increased my ramipril. I took it a couple of hours ago and since then I've been itching. Anyone know if this is common. Also can't sleep but I don't think that's connected Thanks Valentina x

Amlodipine side effects
I've been on amlodipine since Jan and recently started having slight blurred vision. I see this is one of the possible side effects, but I thought it would have happened before now if it was that, but I also have blepharitis which it could be causing it. Any thoughts?

Feeling positive
So 9 months after heart attack and stent treatment I'm now off 2 pills Colpidogrel and Ramipril. Still taking 3 but feel it's positive. Always been active and healthy and many hobbies so this was a mega shock. But now feeling great getting back to most of my activities and my lovely 9 month old border

Indapamide
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone was on the drug Indapamide? This is diuretic that also helps control blood pressure. I have been on Amlodipine for about a year and it has kept my blood pressure spot on but I am suffering very swollen ankles and feet, a common side effect I am told. The dr therefore
