What kinds of OTC pills mimic PD or make it worse?

I'm off the 8mg patches, now how long do I have to stay off before I can reintroduce at lower dose?
Hi everyone, As someone who was ill-advisedly prescribed 8mg patches of Rotigatine, I have now been off them for a week, although the drugs used to fill the gap have turned me into something of a zombie. Assuming that the maximum dose I should be taking is 3mg, how long should I leave myself off dopamine

Tramadol withdrawal
I have written previously about withdrawal from Ropinirole which was horrendous. The doctor prescribed me Tramadol to help and I took 100mg a night for 4 weeks. Perhaps too long but I had a holiday booked and didn't want to spoil it with sleepless nights and restless legs. I have now tapered off the

I am not an art critic, but I do play one on TV.
Thank you so much silvestrov for sharing your art work. When I first saw your landscape I thought oh I see a Munch influence but I looked at your earlier works and thought hmm, that's more like Dali and your later works have sort of a van Gogh feeling to it. I understand that artist explore new directions

Natural Dopamine vs C/L
I was reading an article about this and can send a link later but wondered if anyone had any information about this. I guess the primary concern would be whether dopamine crosses the blood-brain barrier. It's late and I'm exhausted will check tomorrow thank you for your replies

In recovery, Getting back to Basics
Hello, I have had a turbulent few months and I apologize for not checking in on the forum. I have had internet access but have developed a bit of a fixation with podcasts and knitting patterns (my dopamine hit, it could be worse, eh?) and don't extend myself much beyond those. I was determind to hold

Was this patient's long history of meditation a factor in the remission of his PD?
This morning while browsing through my daily Google alert on news about Parkinson's disease, I came across this reference: "A potential case of remission of Parkinson's disease " That of course grabbed my attention. I clicked on the link and found it referred to a PubMed report on the case

The cure, coy as ever
Hey, have you seen this? I don't have the heart to print the headline. I would hear your guffaws from afar. But this story from the Independent (U.K.) is pretty interesting. Among the things I learned from it: fruit flies have muscles. Who knew? Scientists believe they have discovered that Parkinson

What can I expect from Neurology Referral?
I have been prescribed Pramipexole to treat my RLS for the last 7 years. My daily dosage is currently 720 micrograms. Even on this dosage the obvious symptoms (leg spasms and discomfort) have begun to occur during the day. Also for the last few months I have spent more time researching the role of dopamine

My Journey through withdrawal from Dopamine Medication.. "The Drug that became my demon". (Augmentation and Me)
I'm a 64 year old Austarlian lady who's had RLS for seventeen years. During the past year the drug Pramipexol helped less & less until finally after hours of research I found out about Augmentation. I belong to two RLS Forums on Facebook and it has been such a life saver to have that support from RLS

Do what calls your name
May you have a good Sunday today!! One thing that makes me feel well is to create something. If I go to bed without having created something, I feel badly and sometimes wonder why I exist. Whereas when I cook something, draw something, paint something, knit something...or create something I enjoy, I
