People pleaser.
Most of my life I’ve been a people pleaser in one way or another. I’ve tried to stop but can’t, I’m constantly on the lookout for praise, approval and admiration. I’ve had various counselling sessions over the years for depression and anxiety. Through this help I’ve found the reasons I people pleasure

988 wasn't helpful
I tried 988 again even though I knew how it would go. She kept asking questions I had already given her the answers to. It felt like she was stalling the whole time with lines of questioning that led nowhere. We finally got to the coping skill part and she was suggesting things that everyone suggests

feeling trapped again
Last week was very overwhelming and I still haven't processed everything that I experienced. Some good came out of it and even that's upsetting. Suddenly people in my close family have changed for the better and are trying to get to a point where they can support me. But it feels like it's way too late

Help and guidance
Hello. I have had depression and anxiety most of my adult life. I currently take medicine and had it under control. Then four weeks ago we had to put our dog of 13 years done. She was a part of the family and sat on my lap every night. Since then I have had crying spells, waking up in morning with

Feeling depressed, wish me luck
It's been a while since I've posted. Things were going great and suddenly they're not. I've tried a new form of medication and it's brought back the impending doom that follows along with depression. I've been crying off-on for 2 weeks now. I'm so sad and I don't even know why. I want to be better

Neurology
Hi everyone, I finally have my appointment with neurology 16th May .My gp is taking me off pregabalin and advising amitryptaline (excuse the spelling) I explained this was also used as an antidepressant so would aggravate my symptoms, he then got quite angry and said well there's nothing else you can

Medscape posts the new consensus about treating AF

PSA going down, but ALP increasing
I'm 3 weeks into a clinical trial for ARV-766, an AR degrader. At 2 weeks, my PSA had dropped from 133 to 66! Bone pain is much less. All my liver numbers are fine, but alkaline phosphatase has gone from 199 when I started to 429 at two weeks and 519 at three weeks. Doc thinks may just be a surge, but

Mistery therapy: Gastrin-releasing peptide receptors s target for PCa
I will have to dig deeper to find the 4 clinical trials mentioned, but here is the text "Each tumor has its own distinctive molecular identity. Treatment, therefore, should be tailored to this unique cancer phenotype. Theragnostics uses the same compound for targeted imaging and treatment, radiolabeled

Discomfort after pooing
hello I’ve had IBS for as long as I can remember. Definitely linked to anxiety. I have severe outbreaks and have taken antidepressants for years and will always do so. I’ve been meditating daily for a few years and wish I had started years ago. I’ve also done a course of online hypnotherapy specifically
