New here. My Story and Why I Stopped Worrying Quite So Much. Also, One Question.
Hello. I'm new. I hope you don't find this writing too long. I just wanted to share my experience and ask a question at the end. I went to emergency in January 2017, feeling so weak I could barely move from one chair to the next. I was admitted immediately and, after many tests, diagnosed with Afib

To the Methadone user
She said she hopes you are being closely monitored, because it can slow breathing so much as to bring on
cardiac
arrest
even at low doses.

New here, Diagnosed last year
According to Neurologist I have always had Epilepsy but was very mild and underlying but the
cardiac
arrest
has brought it to the surface. I am on Keppra but is now being reduced because of some side effects and Lamotrigine is being added.

Scared ...help
Idk but I'm so scared that I'm going to have a heart attack because I have symptoms of a heart attack all the time and I read that stress and anxiety can cause heart problems like heart attack and
cardiac
arrest
I'm so terrified that it might happen to me.

GOOD NEWS
It is now three months since I underwent cardiac ablation for A Fib and A Flutter (the full English you might say) . The procedure wasn't as straightforward as the EP would have liked but I survived and, as far as I can tell , I have been in NSR ever since. I really am enjoying getting back to a degree

Paroxysmal Afib at 60
I was diagnosed with Paroxysmal AFIB 6 months ago. I didn't realize I had it until I was diagnosed during a routine visit to my PVP. I was sent to ER where I was also told my creatinine level was at 2.1 with 1.27 being normal. My kidney function has slowly come back in the last 6 months but it has

Hypoxic brain injury following cardiac arrest
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has any experience he would like to share with medical treatment for limb contractures. Mom's spasm seems to be getting worse but the caring team's approach is to do physio and casts as they claim no significant control is gained with meds as it isn't a spinal injury

Post Pnemonia Wheezing/ Coughing
Hello, ive recently had a case of pnemonia that was caused by a bacteria called Mycoplasma. Ive had 7 courses of antibiotics (mostly clarithomycin and now amoxicillin), steroids (but had to come off due to migraine side effect) and now inhalers. I also ended up getting DVT while on bed rest for this.

Monday is my date they just called to bump me up to May 8th at 11:15 AM.I feel scared about so many things
I know this is not a cure.My Doctor well informed me about that. She said if I wanted more children with my blood pressure being so high from the pain that trying anything is better then just not doing anything . The shots did not work the removing every endo spot she could see while saving everything

Why I no Longer use T3
Interestingly I was on T3 last year and was still taking it right up until I collapsed with multiple organ failure followed by a
cardiac
arrest
and coma. I wasn't being monitored because I couldn't find an NHS doctor to do this and until I do then I wouldn't touch T3 with a barge pole

Where we are today...
He has told me he thinks that what made him ill in the first place (he had a
cardiac
arrest
due to a condition he was born with - Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome) but dr has reassured him this was not the case. We are just both still quite young (IN OUR HEADS!!)...

31 years with ITP - new here
Hi, I was diagnosed with ITP in November 1986 after a bout of glandular fever, admitted to hospital with a platelet count of 3. I was aged 19. I had a splenectomy in February 1987 as my steroid response was useless, counts wouldn't stay up as soon as the dose was dropped below 40mg and I ballooned up

Hypoxic brain injury
Hi 7 months ago my partner, Claire, suffered a
cardiac
arrest
resulting in a serious Hypoxic brain injury. After 5 days we were told she would never wake up and the best thing to do would be to turn off her life support. Reluctantly we agreed with the doctors.

PBC or not!?
Ok folks. What do you think? Just had an ercp with sphincterotomy. Dr removed stones and sludge. Gastro dr now things that maybe I don't have PBC because my Lfts have almost apart from one, which he couldn't remember which one, have returned to normal after years of not being normal. He did say it

Irressa, anyone taken it before?
He said we now can give you irressa, I know that there are side effects with every drug we take but at the moment I'm trying to get use to the blood thinning tabs which they had to put me on because I went into
cardiac
arrest
and then a Tia stroke immediately after they had finished the lung biopsy.
