Xeloda side effects
I have progression in my liver after being on Palbociclib and Letrozole for over two years. Xeloda has been suggested but I'm worried the side effects will make it impossible for me to care for my husband who has advanced dementia. It seems a rather drastic change of medication and I was wondering if

Any experience of Letrozole? My mum is half way through her second-line chemo of caelyx/carbo but it was stopped today. More info below
So as stated, mum was on second line caelyx/carbo chemotherapy and it has been stopped today, reasons being two-fold; she had a stroke a few weeks back and would be deemed at risk of possibly have another stroke. Also, the cancer evident in the CT scan of abdomen before chemo started, some of the disease

Zometa & Faslodex
After seeing onc today, I’ve been told no more ibrance… instead zometa & faslodex only. I’m an emotional wreck, I don’t understand why she has changed her mind. Am I on a slippery road now? Should I be worried, Should I get a second opinion, or should I just try this new combination? I feel so low. I

Fulvestrant
So glad reading the comments about lumps where fulvestrant has been injected. Was getting a bit worried as they have only just appeared and with the pain as well thought cancer was spreading to my bones.... Any tips for easing the pain would be helpful.

Taking an OTC for immediate relief?
Can anyone tell me: I'm on Faslodex, Ibrance, Xgeva. I have a bacterial bladder infection (getting antibiotic today!). Does anyone know of any reasons to NOT take Uristat Ultra UTI Pain Relief Tablets until the pain and burning and continual urination stops? (Due to interactions with MBC meds) Thank

Xeloda next, why not fulvastrant with Palbo first?
Hi I’ve recently had small liver progression on Letrozole/palbo and will now be starting Xeloda on Friday which is making me a bit anxious re the side effects. However, I’m also wondering why my onc didn’t try fulvastrant with palbo firstly. I forgot to ask her last time we spoke. Does anyone know if

Hypothyroidism
My husband is 69 1/2 years old, always been healthy and is not on any medication other than the supplements I give him. Recent blood work in August 2021, showed a low B12 level of 300, he is now on supplements to help with this. The problem lies with his TSH levels. The chart ranges I have found

So my dear ladies an update. Self injecting still and have a sore tummy…..any suggestions Sandra. No clots in the lungs thank goodness but I now have to go for a CT scan on my arm. The Doctor at the hospital is 99.9% sure that is where the clot is. There is all the signs. It could even be in a Lymph

Mastectomy wound
Hi ladies I had a left mastectomy in Jan 17, have had various treatments and have been on Cape for about 1 1/2 years but unfortunately it has stopped working and I am about to start Kadcyla IV. Recently a small wound has opened along line of my mastectomy scar, they have taken a biopsy as they think

Ibrance not working? Update
Update following on from my previous post a few weeks back. Had MRI on Tuesday and got the call from my oncologist yesterday. There has been progression - the emphasis was ‘slight’ but none the less progression… I’m to remain on ibrance (yay…what I wanted) and zoladex but ditch the letrozole/Femara

Any people's experiences taking Faslodex and /or Ibrance
I had a mastecomy just over a week ago and yesterday the doctor mentioned about going on the above mentioned drugs. I had Stage 3 breast cancer in 2017 with lumpectony, chemo and radiation and just had a Stage 1 reoccurence in same breast which is why they did the mastectomy. Know there are several serious

Routine mammograms while in W&W?
Hey, there, fellow cll-ers. I am in W&W, tho numbers spiked after vaccines (so will see in couple weeks how I'm doing now). My gynecologist recommends yearly mammogram -- had one last year, and was fine. She said yesterday she wants me to schedule another now, and I'm wondering. No special family

Exemestane and Everolimus and my Sunflowers
The side affects are getting to me now. Itchy face and a rash on my chest bone. Palpitations and a chesty cough. True to form according to the leaflet I was given explaining the drugs. It will never stop me doing things. We walked 4 miles again yesterday along the River Mersey. Tired when I got back

ErSO Let's bombard Bayer with messages to start trials!
Hi Dear Ladies I am reposting the below from over on Inspire... I just wrote a short message to the CEO of Bayer, maybe we can all do the same... Obviously if this drug works the way it purported to in animal trials, they stand to make big $$ so I doubt they will delay...even so, a bit of polite nudging
