If PSA is Suppressed by Doublet ADT, Will Salvage IMRT Cause a PSA Rise?

Anyone has a success story to share on using HDR Brachytherapy 2-3 years after initial Radiation of the prostate gland in case of recurrence of cancer? Thank you for sharing your story.

i’ve posted on here once for a scare, i’m back again. i’m 24 years old, and my poop has just not been super normal since i have had the thought it could be colon cancer. i have a spot on my lower left abdominal area, right below belly button, i assumed it to be a hernia. my doctor sent me for an ultrasound

Hello. Am now in year 10. Details in profile. For 2+ years have been taking Zoladex, Zytiga and Prednisolone. The CT bone scans and Nuclear medicine full body scans every 6 months show no radiographic progression and I feel ok, apart from fatigue when not active. Recently have some discomfort

10-year update still shows no benefit to ART vs early SRT
ART
= adjuvant radiation therapy, within 6 months after radical prostatectomy (RP)
early SRT
= salvage radiation therapy, after PSA ≥ 0.1ng/ml or 3 consecutive rises. Median was 0.2 ng/ml. Median 1 ½ years after RP. Patients risked nothing by waiting, and gained urinary and fecal continence

BILLY NEEDS HELP

how much to raise by?
I’m taking tamoxifen for breast cancer. It had impacted thyroid levels in the autumn but I only adjusted by a little. Latest test was tsh 5.17 and t4 17 (not taken that day) on 125 for 3 days a week and 100 for 4 days a week. Obviously I’m not very with it now. I think it has been like this for

10th year
Ten years ago I had my Gleason 9 prostate removed. PSA was .1 for a while. It crept up over .2, and I began taking lupron. The drug brought PSA back down to >.01 for a year or so. As the level started going up again, I received whole pelvis bed radiation, moving PSA to undetectable. After a year or so

Good News! Pluvicto Update
Hey Guys, I just had my third round of Pluvicto this last Tuesday. I had bloodwork done last week. The news seems promising: On 28 January (after docetaxel, but before Pluvicto), my PSA was 36.2. After 2 rounds of Pluvicto on 8 April, my PSA had dropped to 14.5! So, I am remaining positive! I have

Not sure I understand this. It's not a very good article. It discusses two different ways PCa evolves and possible different treatments can be developed. https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2024-03-05-ai-reveals-prostate-cancer-not-just-one-disease

He had a PSMA Pet scan and it
