Dental treatment on Apixaban
Hi everyone, I am in the unfortunate position of needing a dental implant for a broken front tooth/crown. Not only is this extremely expensive but I am also concerned about bleeding as I am on apixaban. Has anyone had a similar experience with invasive dental treatments whilst on blood thinners?

GCA ...... in remission , hooray ! Off of steroids now after 41/2 years , still having methotrexate weekly as I have Rheumatoid ,and will have to take blood thinners for ever due to Atrial Fib, but I was on such a high when my Rhumatologist told me I was in remission and likely would stay there !! However

Hydroxychlorquine associated hyperpigmentation is observed in up to 7% of Lupus patients.
A crossāsectional study showed an association between HCQālinked hyperpigmentation and therapy with antiplatelet agents and/or oral
anticoagulants
(2). It is unclear whether the incidence of cutaneous hyperpigmentation correlates with the cumulative dose and/or duration of HCQ use (1).

Muscle pain after stopping Ticagrelor
Itās a year since my HA and stents and my blood thinners ceased about ten days ago, since which time Iāve been suffering muscle pains. When I wake up I have a stiff and sore neck and pain in my left thigh. Iāve been very good all year about taking moderate exercise for 60 to 90 minutes every day. When

Vitamin K
This is in response to some who replied to "Blood Thinners" (middlejoel). Vitamin K does not "cause" blood to clot. Sure, the "K" stands for "Koagulation" (German), but that is because vitamin K is essential for normal clotting. It is not safe to be vitamin K deficient. K is essential

Blood thinners
I am taking 3 meds that could be considered blood thinners....Eliquis: Nattokiness, and Vitamin K. I also take Taurine and Arginine. My question is...can I eliminate Eliquis and keep Natto? I take the meds because I have been found to have A-fib. A few years ago, Nalakrats wrote a great article about

Looking for some advice please.....
As I was reading a post about TIA and
anticoagulants
there was mention of the member seeing an electrophysiologist and my query is this......I've never heard of anyone here in Scotland seeing one of those and I wonder how I'd go about it myself.

GENACOL FOR KNEE PAIN is it OK with Blood Thinners ?
My doctor says that it should be OK. The Pharmacist told me to talk to my doctor. There seems to be a lot of passing it on in medicine today !! Is any one else taking it here in the AF community. If so what were you told by your doctors? Does it work for joint pain? What has been your experience? Any

anticoagulants
I have been prescribed - I have got myself in a right pickle about taking them, especially having read some of the possible and scary side effects.

Non-Medicated to Medicated FET
Has anyone switched from a non-medicated to a medicated FET? My third transfer (which was my first FET) was non-medicated as I have regular periods and ovulate without any problems. All went well during the non-medicated FET (other than the fact it ended in yet another chemical pregnancy!). It definitely
