After years of stress and high work pressure, i had what i would call, a breakdown 3 years ago. What i experienced in the last months up to this, was increasingly the feeling of needing to breath

Today my query is about taking
Adcal
-
D3
which my surgery has changed from Calcichew. The Calcichew was not a problem to take as they could be sucked or chewed, I kept mine by the bed and had the morning one before I got up and the evening one with yogurt.

Statins are the biggest money spinner in the world, no wonder that they want us all to be on them, money money and money!!
My Mum was on statins, she had dementia, a very clever woman indeed, if I had known what I know now, I would never have given her a statin, or the calcium tablets. Both of which contributed to her death. Good article from the Daily Telegraph, but there is so much info out there, as to why we should

Reversing osteoporosis - progress
Some of the reading I am doing indicates that some of the same things that cause osteoporosis can also cause inflammation, which in turn increases bone loss. Some of the symptoms that people with PMR have can be caused by nutritional deficiencies and often these are also implicated in bone loss. Some

Extra virgin cod liver oil, or EVCLO
As I'm always interested in searching for new supplements, I thought that I would try cod liver oil, like my Mum used to give us as kids. Then I happened on the EVCLO, found it to be far superior from what I have read, so going to buy it today. Reasons being, strengthen our immune system, as with Hypo

Help needed with how I am feeling.
Hi guys, Since l last posted I have been to see Dr HM privately, he is a brilliant and caring doctor. I have a shopping list from him for my doctor to sort out. I was concerned that my ferritin was high and my B12 low. My doctor didn't see a problem. Dr M said I should have a fasting transferrin

Vitamin D and Calcium dosage
I have Hashimoto's and I also have a low Vitamin D which is 48 (range 50 - 150) and also slightly low Calcium (I can't remember the figures of the top of my head). Therefore I have been prescribed Adcal as it contains both. The Adcal is 1500mg / 400 ui. What dosage of Vitamin D should I be taking?
