Supplement Nichi Glucan appears safe and may be worth a PD trial - I would welcome any feedback on the linked documents.
A trial was done involving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). However, the research paper makes a fairly good case (IMHO) for running a similar trial with PD patients. Beneficial reconstitution of gut microbiota and control of alpha-synuclein and curli-amyloids-producing enterobacteria,

Thyroid and sticky blood tests
I am hoping someone can give me some help and information regarding these tests which my clinic have recommended before our next transfer. A little bit of my story so far. I have had 6 transfers, transfer number 4 gave us our little girl. My last transfer ended in a MMC at 8 weeks, not sure of the reason

My ongoing RLS battle
This is a follow up to my post “Life After Ropinirole”. Shortly after I posted my body decided it had had too many opioiods and I became more sick than I had ever gotten on opioids before. It came on suddenly without warning. No chance to make any changes to prevent it. The nausea was so very intense

Transferred from Harefield following stent fitting and mild stroke to Mount Vernon North London ( Boris constituency ) for a few weeks of rehab. Half vision still and both left leg and arm much weaker. Amazing staff here who push you to regain both muscle strength and confidence. Finally i must apologise

What is “normal “ tiredness
My 83 year old dad had stent inserted 11days ago Also has pneumonia which is easing But he is so extremely fatigued-despite having a good 10 hours sleep each night he falls asleep at the drop of a hat through the day Is this to be expected at this early stage ? I think it is but he’s anxious over

Thank you.
Just wanted to thank everyone who gave help and reassurance in my recent post about my husband who, at the age of only 40 and previously fit and well on every way, shape and form, was admitted with ?unstable angina 7 days ago. Well. Today he underwent the angiogram which showed two arteries were blocked

Waiting for stent but anxious about catching covid
Hello- I’m ‘5-7’ weeks from an angiogram/stent…. Taking Asprin/atorstatin/amilopidine (sp!) and feeling fine. But several of the kids and teacher in my sons class have tested positive for covid in past week…. We’re (still!) negative. Is it a terrible thing to get covid if 47 and severely blocked LAD

So I'm a wee bit terrified..we're -ve LFT..so far. So do I keep him off

Coming off Apixaban
I have been on Apixaban 5mg twice a day for 6 months now due to me having a pulmonary embolism due to being bed bound with covid. I’m due to come off my medication today as my doctor insist I not longer need treatment. I’m very nervous to stop taking the tablets and what effects it will have on my body

Anyone tried a homeopath
My mum has suffered with rls for about 10 years. She's tried ropinerole, pamiprexole, skin patches, gabapentin and pregablin. All of this gave her relief at first and then symptoms returned. Next the doctor gave her topiremade, with this her rls went away however she had really bad depression symptoms

Is there any advantage to putting off increasing my gabapentin?
Up until about 6 weeks ago the 1500 gabapentin that I take completely controlled my restless legs. Then about once a week I got restless legs. I have exercises that I do that take about 10 minutes that allows me to go back to bed without symptoms. It seems pretty obvious to me that I will eventually
