Meridian went belly-up in the summer, and the hospital (Brigham and Women’s in Boston) will cease using that machine in October 25th. I was supposed to start a clinical trial Nov 1st, now cancelled. Greater use of Benlysta, Saphnelo seen in US, EU to treat lupus
Goal to reduce long-term glucocorticoids use to prevent side effects
In both the U.S. and Europe, clinicians want to limit treatment with glucocorticoids — steroid hormones whose long-term use for autoimmune diseases is tied to serious side effects — among people with moderate to severe lupus

hu CAR-T 19 IL-18 TRIAL 14 DAY BMB REPORT AND DR. VISIT DAY 21
I knew it was coming, a going away gift for being such a great patient. A BMB is ordered at day 14 of this clinical trial, groggy from 1mg of atavan earlier that morning, I am not even going to make jokes about it. This is a necessary test to see what is going on with the infusion of my new armored piercing

SBRT alternative
So I've been trying to decide on what treatment I wanted to do and finally decided that I'd go with SBRT. Well unfortunately the MRIdian SBRT is going away at the end of the month. I reached out to Dr. Kishan to verify and this was the response "Unfortunately that is likely correct. We will be doing

pacemaker and a fib
I have had paroxysmal A Fib since 2001. In recent times I developed sick sinus syndrome and long pauses. In March this year I was given a dual chamber pacemaker. I have had no A Fib episodes since until this morning when I woke up with it thumping away. Disappointing but I suppose it had to happen

WHEN YOUR CLINICAL TRIAL FAILS, WHAT DO YOU DO NEXT ?
Except for a monthly neulasta injection, my Nurex 2127 trial had been going pretty well. My blood counts were good, 13ish HGB 1,80 ALC 150 Plat ANC was always low. My Dr. thought it would be idea to do an 18 month " lets see where we are BMB", no problem. I hadn't had one in about 20 months
