Vitamin Supplements for Thyroid and Cardiac Issues
Has anyone here any issues with taking supplements such as B12, Vit D3, magnesium etc, and had any adverse reaction from their heart? I've found B vitamins give me palpitations and would like to know if anyone else has had similar experiences. If so, what were you taking and how did you resolve them

Neuropathy - too little B12 or too much B6?
Hi there, I posted about this yesterday but am still a little confused about vitamins, so I'm hoping for some suggestions as how to best handle the situation. I'm taking 1000mcg sublingual B12 methylcobalamin daily to support thyroid. Plus a B complex tablet daily. I have neuropathy and joint pain

NDT versus Levo/T3 & Vitamin support Advice
Hi, I just switched to NDT but feel terrible. I perhaps should have tried to supplement my 175mcg levo with T3 first? Only on getting my medichecks results last week did I discover I had Hashis so although I KNEW I was very sick on levo I did not appreciate I also had Hashis. I have not been gluten

high TSH
I followed advice from people here and I raised (gradually) the amount of Euthyrox, from 25 to 50, and my heart goes like crazy, I can hear it in my ears. I cannot walk three to 5 steps and I have to stop because of shortness of breath. I've prepared my hormone for morning, 37.5 again and then I'm going

VITAMIN B
Does anyone here take vitamin B? I have MCTD and Sjogren's and wonder if this would help. I don't go out when the sun is shining in the summer. I am having a flare at the moment and feel pretty grim. Any suggestions on dosage and which brand is best. Thanks a lot.

Having had thyroid problems in the past, I understand how tired and fatigued you become if there is even a minor imbalance of your thyroid. Have recently listened to a video by MD Gundy a former cardiac surgeon who now has diverted his attention to vitamins and substances which can affect your thyroid

What Should I Do After a Slip Up?
What do you do if you accidentally slip up and eat too many carbs? What can you do to overcome a weight plateau? And what about food cravings during your period? I slipped up today and ate too many carbs! What to do? How big of a set back is this going to be? Have I completely undone all the right

How are you feeling and your endo?
I thought it'd be nice to share how my health is going. I have found ways to manage my body and find what works best for me and was curious to know about yours. If you could share your experience would be great. I also want to thank some ladies here who gave me great suggestions, they helped me a lot

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could give me a quick interpretation of my thyroid results? I'm usually on the PA site, I have macrocytic anaemia, low ferritin, low folate and of course low vitamin B12. I asked my GP to test vitamin D and thyroid, mother, aunt and gran all have under active thyroid

Subclinical, being baselined (awaiting tests), trying alt therapies; don't want to interfere with diagnosis (chronic migraine/malaise)
Hello, I have just joined and I am having my thyroid baselined after a TSH of 5.5 and a T4 of 14.5 (thereabouts, TSH just over upper limit T4 was low end) I am in the UK. My dr was prompted to test because of numbness in foot and tingling along with head and neck pain accompanying my chronic migraine

GP does not do loading dose as per BNF guidelines due to pressure on appointment availability !1
Hi all, Finally had a reply from my letter to GP questioning why my loading dose of 6 jabs was over 6 weeks, not 2 weeks as per guidelines. ( I enclosed copies of EVERY treatment protocol ) and reminded him I had tested positive for IFA antibodies and Parietal Antibodies, and had neuro symptoms even
