SI vs Self-treating
I started using the term self-treating as soon as I started to inject. In the USA I was prescribed 8 weekly cyno 1mg IM then 1mg cyno and 1 mg folic oral daily for life. No further treatment necessary. I did improve but not much. My impetus to self-treat was at first driven to prevent permanent damage

B1 HDT Protocol with Sinemet
Does anyone happen to know should the thiamine be taken before, after, or at the same time as sinemet?Or does it even matter?

B12 ampoules
Can't find post but wondered if there was an outcome to only half the amount in .0.5ml rather than 1mg/1ml Was it an error of user? Or syringe Or was it a batch of b12 faulty?

T4 low TSH normal
Evening, I've had more blood tests done and I'm fed up of feeling so badly every day. I've done medichecks TSH tests and cortisol. Only test low is my T4 which tbh never changed since 2016 TSH fluctuates. I had telephone appointment before my test results came back. Due to my chronic fatigue. Weight

Help with results - what would you do?
Hello I finally got a private endo to agree to up my meds from 75mcg levothyroxine to 100 or112.5 if I felt it necessary in July 2023 allowing my TSH to fall below range, and that I understood and was willing to take the risks. My 3 pm slump was dangerous as I was fighting to stay awake on the way

Results Advice
Had been taking
B12
,
vitamin
D & K2. Test taken at 9am fasted. Not on Levothyroxine. Plan at present is simply to feel better. Already ditched caffeine & alcohol. Now going to trial 3months gluten and dairy free.

I am now able to tolerate antibiotics again after my nerves healed
Hello! I just want to give this update about my situation. I hope people on here find this because my situation was a nightmare and I think this can help people who are confused and not sure what to do or if they'll ever be able to tolerate antibiotics again (TL;DR: you will be able to if you can heal

Prednisolone Dependant
This has left her with a
vitamin
B12
deficiency, extreme tiredness etc. She was previously prescibed monthly B12 Intramuscular injections. Our GP has changed this to bi-monthly, at first he changed it to tri-monthly periods. The result being she is continuously tired , often exhausted.

Update
I had a call from surgery re blood test to say I should pick up a script for 50mcg Levothyroxine which is double the daily dose I have been on. Another blood test in 6 weeks. My problem is I have been fine on 25mcg lots of energy as long as I get my B12 I wonder at GP changing meds without any consultation

Update
I am still working out my next trial. I am having issues with procurement which is no fun. I now can reduce or eliminate a supplement and in a few days tell what the effect is, to my satisfaction. I call it incipit symptoms. I can tell they are going to return with a vengeance due to prior trials.

History of continued low and fluctuating iron levels - advice?

Last time i had my transferrin saturation index done it was 40% so bang on mid way. January I think it was. It’s now dropped to19%

Active b12 versus serum b12
My Medichecks active b12 is 63.1 (range is 37.5-188) but my serum b12 tested at my gp surgery shows top of range. Should I supplement? I also have hypothyroidism. Thank you

At What Level Is Low B12 Treated?
Hi! I recently had some blood tests and my B12 came back low at 180, normal range 197-771. My folate was 4.7, normal range 3.9-26.8. Full blood count and ferritin fine, I had iron deficiency anaemia and have been successful treated for that and all those levels looking good. My question is, at what

B12 deficiency
Hi. Have been taking levothyroxine for some time for autoimmune thyroiditis. Over past few years have suffered with ataxia. Total instability when walking. Initially very random but deteriorating. Fractured wrist then shoulder then foot. Finally referred to a falls clinic and first diagnosis is low
