I'm currently on sertide and being switched over to symbicort. I'm not sure of the dosage etc as need to discuss further with gp. I'm a little concerned as been on seretide for years. When I get switched it triggers flares and I've already had loads of time of work. I work part time. I also think I'm

I was told a week ago to stop all my medication due to a chest infection and WBC being too low. I've been off my hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate for over a week now and weirdly my joints and swelling has been the best it's been for over 2 years. I feel perplexed has a 2 year flare just finished

Biological therapy.
I have been reading through all the posts on biological therapy.I have literally this week just heard that I qualify for Tezspire. The wait time is about 4 weeks. I am wondering who else is having this / had it and how they are getting on . Thank you.

Greater use of Benlysta, Saphnelo seen in US, EU to treat lupus
Goal to reduce long-term glucocorticoids use to prevent side effects
In both the U.S. and Europe, clinicians want to limit treatment with glucocorticoids — steroid hormones whose long-term use for autoimmune diseases is tied to serious side effects — among people with moderate to severe lupus

hi thanks for your kind replies RE enlarged aorta 4.4 cm
I’m terrified of the impact on my family if I suffer a dissected or ripped aorta which can apparently happen anytime. Does the risk decrease after elective surgery. Thankyou in advance for your kind replies/advice - I’d really like to hear your experiences as this is all new to me (3weeks) what a situation

Post following my first consultation
Hi everyone, I posted recently to ask for some advice with regards to my first private consultation. I had this yesterday and based off my symptoms he said endometriosis is likely and would like to do a laporoscopy. I've never had surgery or been to hospital myself before so it's all a bit daunting!

ovarian cysts
hi all, just wanted some advise or just someone to chat to. So I’ve been quite unlucky and I keep getting ovarian cysts. I am planning to have surgery in 2 months time for the cyst to be removed, on the scan it was mentioned the ovary looked sticky as in the scan it hardly moved and it shows there’s

Can't believe I did this
I've had RLS for 15 plus years, mainly being treated with Sinemet (1 tab 25/100) over the years, with Ropinirole and more painfully, Pramipexole which caused severe augmentation a year ago. Three weeks ago, I had surgery for right anterior tibial tendon repair on my right ankle BECAUSE I stretched it

Post deep sclerectomy surgery recovery - severe fogginess causing severe worry and depression
(Posting on behalf of my dad) My dad, who is 80, had a deep sclerectomy on his right eye on 13 May. His left eye is already damaged and the right eye has some damage, but they did this to try and secure the sight in that eye. All seemed to be going well and he could get out and about in the couple

Then have been told lumpectomy, radiotherapy and /or chemotherapy. It's oestrogen and progesterone driven. I am on hrt, I'm perimenopausal. I also had a heart

Weird leg pain
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this weird symptom! For almost 10 years now I have had pain in my outer calf about two inches up from my ankle on both sides. It comes on with the slightest exertion but is not there all the time. The achy pain builds and builds until I feel like

Living donor post op issues
My daughter donated a kidney 9 months ago and has experienced changes since the surgery. She’s having a lot of bloating and changes to her bowel function. I’m wondering if anyone else who is in touch with their donor has heard of any specific changes since the surgery?
