. Look for something that contains mainly Caprylic Acid (C8) which is more readily absorbed and converted to Ketones. Some supplements are sold as

but are more akin to coconut oil, which has a much lower amount of C8.

MCT Oil
in another thread someone posted today about
MCT
oil
. I hadn’t heard of this and have tried to research it. It seems to be useful in a variety of situations and claims include support in weight gain, increased energy, constipation t and pain relief. Really it sounds a bit of a ‘cure all’.

Leftover laxatives, peppermint oil capsules and compression stockings
Can anyone with up and coming surgery make use of remaining unopened laxative sachets (I think there are 14 left), an almost full bottle of H&B Peppermint oil capsules, and three pairs of minimally worn and clean compression stockings in size small? My surgery was 10 weeks ago so the capsules are very

Multi-vitamins? What brand?
Hi everyone! For those of you who take multi-vitamins, what brand do you take? I am looking for a new one. The one I used to take added fish oil and I can't have that. I prefer non-GMO. Thanks in advance!

what is ibs?
Hi! new here and didn’t actually know this forum was about until I started googling on the nhs site. So my question is what is ibs? I want to explain what I’m experiencing and if someone can tell me if it’s completely normal for ibs to be like this I would be really grateful. This time last year

what is the risk from ALA?
What is this community’s take on ALA, as found in flaxseed oil? Is there risk for prostate cancer? If there is “risk”, is that solely an association with increased PSA? i.e. do significant amounts of flaxseed oil cause a change only in one’s baseline PSA? i.e. does it promote the [i]

News today.
Has anyone heard the latest news from “Bristol live” that taking Omega 3 fatty acids and fish oil supplements is a risk factor for AF and stroke? I personally don’t take this supplement because it interacts with warfarin, but thought those that do might like to investigate.

Back to life thanks to this forum! GP Next steps though - further levo increase?
You've been so helpful. Your collective knowledge has led to a diagnosis of (ords) hashimotos, my levo being upped to 75mg and I'm pain free for the first time in 5 YEARS! Thank you. I feel alive again. I armed myself with printed NICE guidelines and facts/ research and GP didn't resist this time and

lapararoscopy
I have a complex cyst probably 7.2-7.4cm and have been told that I will need eventual laparascopy. I am back 23rd of July again for another tvultrasound to check how it is. The gynae/surgeon has done watchful waiting with me since my diagnosis as he knows I am a carer for my mum and I have no one else
