Slow colonic transit
My consultant has recommended I try
Biofeedback
therapy
. I'm not sure exactly what this procedure entails. Has anyone been had this treatment if so would be grateful for any advise on what it actually means.

constipation leading to Pelvic Floor dysfunction
I have IBS - C and over the years the medical fraternity have prescribed laxatives for me. I’m following a low fermentation & FODMAP diet which works well for me. However my constipation due to a lot of straining has turned into PFD which basically means my anal muscles are out of sync. Does anyone suffer

Enemas for constipation
I am taking flecainide and bisoprolol for my afib. The medication is doing fine but I’ve got what I believe to be Pelvic Floor dysfunction. Basically one of my rectum muscles (at exit) is contracting when it should be relaxing. I’ve got biofeedback physio on Monday but wanted to know if anyone has experience

Acupuncture for bladder issues
We have been trying everything over the past 7 years for our son who has dysfunctional voiding. Currently Solifenicin and TENS from the consultant. We asked if we could try acupuncture if TENS has no impact. Has anyone been down this route - or anything else not NHS standard? We feel we have tried

Bio Feedback
Has anyone had success with biofeedback? Our son is 13 and had dyspraxia, he can't locate his pelvic floor so as to engage the sensors at the hospital. Anyone have any suggestions on what we could do? We have 5 more sessions (4 hour round trip plus appointment) so it would be good to try and make

Constipation caused by pelvic floor dysfunction
I have been diagnosed with obstructive defecation syndrome (pelvic floor dysfunction) from a proctogram - I’ve been given physiotherapy and it hasn’t worked. I’ve asked to be referred for biofeedback and my doctor says they won’t do anything else. Does anyone have any advice? It’s severely impacting

Bowel irrigation (Not "colonic irrigation")
I have obstructed defecation (anismus) which has not responded to biofeedback etc. The next step is at home bowel irrigation and I am just waiting for an appointment with the bowel nurse to issue me with the equipment. It would be helpful to hear of anyone`s experience with this. I don`t know which

Has anyone done the proton therapy?
Just curious if anyone had their MO suggest doing the proton therapy? When I have my discussion with my new MO, I want to ask if proton therapy would be a fit for myself. I have to deal with the prostate cancer and the met pelvic lymph nodes as well as the met bone issue.

a friend with MS got me into this, we are lucky to have an MS centre with a hyperbaric chamber in Hereford. Pneumocystis pneumonia - PCP
I am just making people aware of the above. This is fungi that in a healthy person would resolve in days. However, in immunosuppressed it can be fatal. I have never heard of this before. Because of taking immune surpression, this fungi has knocked me off my feet. I have been admitted to hospital, now
