Dry mouth
I’m on flecainide and bisoprolol for afib since Dec 2020. They both seem to be working fine and I don’t have the usual side effects that bisoprolol gives in terms of tiredness thankfully. However over the last couple of months my mouth has become dry and painful due to ‘dry mouth syndrome’ I think.

Its def back
After not having any long episodes of af (some short bursts) for over a year had a couple of long episodes and ended up in ae overnight in August as heart rate just wasn't settling. Strange thing was didn't have the usual thumping butterfly feeling I used to get just a feeling of being off and only knew

Omicron & AFib
I hadn't been in AF for a month since my new meds (5mg of bisoprolol) but today i got a positive LFT then soon after I felt a flutter. My Kardia showed 'Possible AFib' although my bpm was only 53. Later the Kardia reading said 'Bradycardia', bpm was 49. My question is - do you think the flutter was just

Afib, Flecainide and exercise, again!
Hello, Forum, I have eventually managed to get some serious interest from the medical community after being diagnosed with afib 9 years ago. No one was interested maybe because my resting heart rate is in the low 50s, even though it goes above 210 when running. Anyhow now I'm on Flecainide (50mg x 2

Flecainide and Bisoprolol as a PIP approach for Vagal Afib?
I’ve deduced I have vagal Afib as all my episodes occur without fail late evening after eating or early morning waking me from my sleep. I take 1.25mg Bisoprolol daily and 50 to 100mg of Flecainide as a pill in pocket. The Flecainide stops Afib in its track usually within one to two hours but I find

Post cardioversion question
I’m just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences to me? I had a few AF experiences before going into persistent AF in September, having a CV a month later, which got me back into normal rhythm. Since then I’ve had a few moments where my heart went into Atrial Flutter, showing 170bpm and

Second ablation
I am also struggling with having a second ablation. While propafenone is stopping the AFIB, it is causing causing fatigue and weakness which is affecting my qol. I can not take anticoagulants so I have had Watchman device, pacemaker, and a first ablation. It was very successful for several years.

Afib once and done?
During a check-up back in October of 2020, I was found to be in afib. I was immediately put on Eliquis. Since October of 2020, I have never experienced another afib event. I was non-symptomatic when it was discovered and continue to be nonsymptomatic. I bought a Kardia device and check for afib 3x a

Are these symptoms an AFib episode or very frequent ectopics?
Had cardio version in November after being in continuous AFib since July when I had heart attack/cardiac arrest/stent. So in sinus rhythm. Then this last week every morning frequent ectopics/missed beats. Yesterday ectopics started really badly. I’m not sure if it was the ectopics (every 3/5 beats) or

I am considering transcranial magnetic imaging TMI. I’ve had a successful ablation and I am in sinus rhythm. Would this be safe?
TMI treats depression. Has anyone with a fib done this? Are there cardiac implications?

Anticoagulant for the first time during an Afib episode ?
Hello, Anticoagulant was prescribed. We hesitated. Got a kardia device and started to daily monitor the heart rhythm. This morning it hit: "possible atrial fibrillation". Note that apixaban, pradaxa and coumarin were prescribed (different doctors, different drugs). Hope has died. Afib doesn't seem to

Warfarin versus DOACS
Following the subconjunctival haemorrhage I got from taking Apixaban for a week, my GP has asked me if I would “like to try” warfarin as an alternative. This is, according to her, less likely to produce an eye bleed. I’m very dubious about this claim which conflicts with what I have read. Has anyone

AFIB IS STRESSING ME OUT!!!
I have been a healthy athelete (boxer) until I was 56 years old, thats when I started having afib episodes to the point of mentally blacking out not passing out and then the journey began. Was put in the hospital for three weeks and put on at the time an experimental drug (dofetelide) which worked extremely

Fermented soya/Afib query
Does anyone have Afib? I'm looking for natural alternatives to blood thinners and have seen Nattokinase and Serrapeptase recommended. Lactoferrin and anticoagulants
I am a 78 old male with PAF. I take Eliquis, Flecainide and Bisoprolol. In these times of Covid a GP suggested to my son, who has no PAF, to take Lactoferrin as a preventative. I would like to take it as well, but I cannot find information on interactions between Lactoferrin and anticoagulants. Has

Has anyone else had a steady heart rhythm but changing rate?
Morning people. Woke up this morning and feel pretty weak. Heart rate on watch seemed to be jumping around quite a bit so I thought may be glitching. Checked with good old finger on wrist and confirmed that heart rate seems to be speeding up and slowing down yet weirdly is in rhythm and doesn’t seem
