Asthma or Covid-19?
Any advice last week I developed shortness of breath which lead me to Amu unit. All stats were normal, ECG was clear, chest x Ray clear, Doctor said I didn't have covid lung, bloods taken, all fine except raised d dimer (blood clot) of 538. Had ultrasound scan on left leg no clot found. Doctor said probably

Productive cough
Hi, hope everyone is well. This may seem a bit random but has anyone suffered from coughing up thick sticky mucus all the time? Mine started bang on 3 years ago at the start of my liver problems. It got really really bad after a boozing holiday, I had it coming out of my nose and coughing it up for weeks

Help! Need shielding advice ASAP, shielding and mum is being asked to go back to work. Update: sorted!! :)
Important update! 18/05/18: Thank you all SO MUCH! I can't express how helpful everyone has been on here, I'm only 19 and don't have a lot of knowledge about workplace legalities or just anything to do with this kind of situation, and everyone's help on here has just been outstanding. So thank you all

Letter to shield
After 7 weeks of social distancing I receive a letter today telling me I’m vulnerable and need to stay in till the end of June. I have asthma and copd, both mild and I’m confused as to why I get this letter now. I rang my surgery and was told, by the receptionist, that it’s probably because of the type

Newly Diagnosed
Hello, I am new here, as well as newly diagnosed with asthma. Finding it kind of hard to cope with now, so I decided to vent here and ask for advice. I am 27 years old, male. I would like to apologize in advance for the incoming wall of text. Even though I have just been diagnosed I think I've had symptoms

Worries with corona and asthma!
Hello! I am hoping to get some advice. I am 25 years old and I would rate my asthma as being mild, I never really use my blue inhaler. When I was younger my asthma was much worse as I did not keep on top of taking my preventer, I would suffer with chest infections and general breathlessness. Now however

Easy bruising, bleeding under the skin and skin tears, and steroids
I am now in the group that gets all of the above. My friend calls it steroid skin. Though not now for nearly a year, I have taken a fair amount of oral steroids, which I know can cause all this. But does anyone know whether the steroids in inhalers also are culprits even though the dose is so much lower

Dunno What Do
The past few days or so I've been suffering from wheezing which is slowly getting worse & a cough, right now breathing is kinda difficult & I've already had to use my blue rescue inhaler once & it ain't exactly helped & it's nearby if it gets worse The thing is, I'm worried to seek help as not that long

Asthma inhaler
My wife is asthmatic. She is prescribed Clenil Modulite 200mcg. Unfortunately the pharmacy that normally provides her medication has had no stock for over a month and can give no intimation when new stocks will be received. They do have 100mcg in stock but can only provide this with a new prescription

Bronchiectasis?
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice? 2 years ago I started to hear a very mild crackle in my chest when I was lying down, and within 6 months I seemed to be coughing up thick very sticky mucus and at one point it was coming out of my nose as well, I thought it was post nasal drip

Struggling
Hi everyone, just need to vent.... any advice appreciated. I was diagnosed with asthma as a child, grew out of it as I got older, and spent most of my late teens and twenties asthma-free. My inhalers would literally gather dust (not good I know, but shows how controlled my symptoms were!) Then 6 months
