I never knew how to make friends
Friendships have enormous benefits for quality of life and health, and although I felt quite comfortable with my current situation - don't really have anyone to spend my birthday with, but I have an excuse - I moved abroad alone, started a new life, my coworkers all have families, so no strong ties there

Sharon has just gone off to the Blood donation center to donate plasma, for therapeutic purposes towards Covid. She has also taken my all my details along with her. Fermenting fibre?! Weaning baby...
Hi! I found you on my everlasting search for answers! My 10 month old has always had issues. I’m breastfeeding so he gets some Covid antibodies, but we’re both dairy free, he’s having a reaction to eggs and has had severe reflux 🥺 We think the reflux is under control but he still wakes many many 😫

Change of meds
Hi everyone, attempted a frozen cycle in August time, but my body did not like the burserline nose spray (not sure that’s how it’s spelt) and now we can try again from today, they’ve changed it to injections? Has anyone used it before? And did it make a difference? Not sure if I’m worrying about nothing

Colonoscopy with AF and ICD?
I've had several colonoscopies with AF and sedation, with no problems at all. But now - I have an ICD. Is an EP by protocol required to be present to switch it on and off before and after? If so, that must mess up their schedules badly.

Nefopam is evil....🤢
Hello After trying my best to fight my daily pain with paracetamol, I’ve finally had to give in and ask my GP for some help. I’ve also been prescribed some meds for anxiety too but I’ve only started today...that goes for the nefopam too. So...the prescribed dosage for the nefopam is 2 30mg tablets

Neurologist in Dallas who is open to opiates for RLS?
Long story short, I had a terrible experience with the neurologist I went to see earlier this year after trying to get off ropinerole due to lactation suppression and augmentation issues. Current neurologist just wants to keep increasing my dose of ropinerole, which I know is a recipe for disaster. Gabapentin

Until a coronavirus vaccine is ready, pneumonia vaccines may reduce deaths from COVID-19
« There are two commonly given vaccines – the pneumococcal vaccine and the Hib vaccine – that protect against bacterial pneumonias. These bacteria complicate both influenza and COVID-19, often leading to death. My examination of disease trends and vaccination rates leads me to believe that broader use

Tyramine, MAO A and MAO B has any one tried a tyramine reduced diet?
I was reading up on MAO inhibitors as the question was asked which is best, an MAO inhibitor or C/L. My husband has had a genetic test and his results say he has lower expression of MAO A and B so I imagine inhibiting it further is probably not a good thing. But reading this it looks like reducing

First run in the dark - interesting....
Just back from my first properly dark run and I thought I'd share my experience. I live in a tiny village with no street lights so am very used to walking in the dark but this was very different Setting off with my sons head torch on looking like a very bad wannabe miner, I walked out of the village

Differences between thyroid meds
What are the differences between Nature-Throid, NP Thyroid, and Westhroid Pure? I used to take Nature-Throid and it was great for me until it was reformulated. I eventually settled on Thyroid S as a replacement but need to find something else before my supply runs out, and still no sign of it becoming
